The article does say Everton may price us out of a move so we can hope.

Isn’t it 2 more starts ? Once fit I can definitely see him getting 2 starts considering how light we are in midfield.

Always a tough game against these, usually really tight as well, I’ll go 1-1. Think Burn will have his hands full against Olise or Zaha.

I definitely got the feeling it wasn’t Howe’s decision to let him go either.

Howe himself said up until 3/4 days ago Wood leaving wasn’t on the radar.

I’m not saying we don’t have targets, I mean we don’t have a replacement ready to come in right now as a replacement.

I’m not so sure, it seems from his comments that it was completely unexpected that Wood was leaving and so we haven’t got a replacement lined up.

No he didn’t, he said we want to but no guarantees.
