    Sack Big Sam

I think that patience is the key for a Newcastle fans and owner at least this season. I have no doubt that BIg Sam will deliver us the goods a solid hard team that is hard to beat but it take’s time and money and hopefully he gets that’s. but i am not sure that all the players he has now are the players he would like to have and are suited to play his game so we will se some new faces in january and many players next summer.
  2. this performance is fucking bad,we are down to our regular shit, fuck fuck fuck
  3. KK all the way WHO voted Souness that´s not even funny.............
  4. we never score in this one no chance!!!! ,fuck i hope that i am wrong
  5. Yeah we got nothing better do with our time than making up stories of Icelandic millionaires trying to buy a mediocre football club. Think again you twat
  6. http://mbl.is/mm/sport/frett.html?nid=1286218 This is the newest article about this and i says that they are locked in talks with Mike Ashley and are trying to acquire a large chunk of newcastle ownership. MBL.is/Morgunbladið is the leading newspaper her in iceland which is now backing up this story from last night, this newspaper has the most news credibly her in iceland and would not publish this unless it was the truth.
  7. http://mbl.is/mm/sport/mot/enski/frett.html?nid=1286194 this the leading newspaper picking it up,its only matter of time until it rech the news in uk
  8. no if that was the case Palmi Haraldsson would just have rejected that they were in talks with him over Newcastle, He said that he would neither confirm or rejected that they were in talks. My guess is that they are looking to invest in the club and if that's the case then in would only make us stronger.I mean why would Mr.Mort talk about longterm goals if they are looking to get out .
  9. This info seems to be missing but some of Mike Ashley sport retailers are also included in the proposal that make this even more credible. Knowing that Baugur Group are manly investing in retailers in the uk.
  10. But I am afraid that Mike Ashley must be looking for a quick sale or a investments from a consortium, why on earth would he hold talks with them if he’s not looking for buyer .
  11. This i the name of the two fellow that are Supposed to be in talks Jón Ásgeir Jóhannesson http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%B3n_%C3%81sgeir_J%C3%B3hannesson he is one of founder of Baugur group Pálmi Haraldsson Is lees know hear in Iceland but his investment are mainly in corporation with baugur group
  12. I think this deserve it own thread The main news her in Iceland tonight is that to of your finest businessmen are in talks with Newcastle united over take over. This is the link http://visir.is/article/20070819/FRETTIR01/70819034 I will translate as soon as I can
  13. yeah Lot's of work to be done, players coming back, but these sort of games should be expected. The only plus is we didn't lose or concede. Yeah we are a team in the making

    Want Diouf?

If the aim for Big Sam I to have Newcastle the most hated club in country he’s your man!!! But with him in the side I would say that Newcastle would have one the most aggressive squad in the premiership. and yes i would like him to come
  16. Well he has flourished under Louis van gal in Ere division, and van gal said in an interview in Iceland that he was one his top signings in his entire carer. His best attributes are good technique, pace and he his work rate is excellence. But what I admire most with him is his mentality he always gives his 100% and seems to have endless of self confidence. Just for example 19 he torn his ACL and at that time most thought that his carer was finish but he decided that he was going to overcome this and become a professional footballer. So he decides that if he was to overcome this he needed to get to best doctor, he took hefty bank loan so he could have his surgery with one of Europe finest surgeon. So when he had finished his rehabilitation he hired an agent and just told to get him to any club that would be possible. And his agent got him to Young boys Bern in Switzerland on rolling contract and van gal snapped him up there several months later. Ok now you know the Steinsson story . I think he could do well here and he is outgoing personality and a good lad (no star syndrome) I think he would have no trouble settling in if he would come her. Nice one, mate. Any idea where the news we bid for the player in the first place come from? it was picked up from a local paper in alkmaar, Steinsson has also admitted in a icelandic newspaper that a offer came but it was way below what AZ want for him.

  18. I have small gossip/information so I just slide it in her. I don’t know if any of you remember Gudni Bergsson who used to captain Bolton. Anyway her in Iceland he has his own football show in the TV and he was telling the other commentators that he spoke to Big Sam yesterday. And Big Sam said to him that he was very confidence for a good season and Gudni said we should a least get sixth place. But the gossip is that Gudni said later in the show when they wear talking about Icelanders in the premier league that Gretar Steinsson would be the next In the line to play their and mentioned the Newcastle offer. I know this doesn’t sound much but I am sure that Gudni would not have brought that up unless he knew something more than the rest of us knowing the relationship he has with Big Sam(he has often mentioned that they talk frequently and Gudni has scouted some Icelandic talent for Big Sam in the past) . But don’t slaughter me if it is nothing in it I am only sharing that information, not trying to show of some ITK skills. And by the way Steinsson scored against Inter tonight in an AZ alkmar win, he would be much better than Carr that’s for sure
