The haters on here are clearly not taller than 5ft3. Or a SMB. Or both.

We do, but it's not entirely down to Tino. We also go a lot more defensive with a back 5 out of possession.
-
Great result. Going past Brighton & West Ham too.
-
Didn't take long from Tino coming on until Elanga was switched over to the left?
-
Time to bring back some of that 2022 shithousing. Just get the win at any cost please.

5-4-1 / 3-4-3 same as against Villa looks like.

Yes

Kind of liking the bar the ref has set. We've had the benefit of it today as well.

Imagine a Sels assist on his second match back in England, against his former club Would have been peak Newcastle.

Lucky goal More confident in us winning than them.

Has to be said, even if Tino was at LB, there's no guarantee he would have been able to cope with Elangas pace for their goal either. Not suggesting I'd prefer Burn to Tino this game, just to be very clear

He's a good player, but he isn't fast. What do you reckon he should do? Refuse to play at left back and take a stance against how Howe sets up his team?
-
oh boy...here we go
-
Forest was not prepared for our set up at the back. Their front 3, sometimes front 4 is chasing shadows when we're in posession.

BRUNO BRUNO BRUNO

Well, we're definitely set up differently. In possession Schar is at RB, Burn LB, Botman CB with Miley and Longstaff as a double pivot. Interesting.

Wild (non-existing) marking by Estupidian on Johnson there
-
He played 120 minutes and was limping at the end mid week. He wom't be able to play at his best for very long. Think Forest is going all out to get an early goal.
-
Strong line-up, options on the bench.

Haven't really involved myself or looked into the discourse much after the Luton game, and don't doubt there's some OTT comments made on here and elsewhere, but the general impression I get is that the majority of people: 1. Love Dan Burn 2. View him as a good ambassador for the club 3. Thinks he's a solid, versatile defender with limited ability to contribute offensively in open play 4. Don't think he should play at LB against pacy wingers I don't mind Howe starting him today, but will of course discuss that choice if my fear comes true that Forest focuses him and tries to get Elange 1v1 or behind him which end up with us conceeding. Even if that happens I still trust both Burn and Howe to get it right. If he starts and plays well I'll credit him and Howe for getting it right.

Just in time for a 75% fit Isak to be rushed back early.
