Living outside the UK, going down would kill my ability to follow the team, there is practically no coverage now here in Canada for the lower leagues, less than there was when we last went down. We all thought going down last time would be like a cleansing process, that would fix our ailments but it's hardly turned out that way, not sure it would be any different this time around.
-
OMG how long did it take you to work that out
-
Can someone tell these two idiots, he wasn't 10 yards ffs
-
Stuck with him now till at least Jan, when it will become apparent that we are going down.

I'm fucking sick of hearing this kind of Bullshit: This is a difficult club to play for. “It can be the greatest club in the world to play for when you are winning, but we are not winning, so it becomes even harder to play for us, and we need to make sure we can handle that.” If you saw the game against Hull, you would know that you can win 5 games in a calendar year and still have a job where barely a discouraging word is voiced in your direction. At any other club in the PL, he would have been run out of town, but not with our pathetic support.

So no matter what happens in Wales this weekend he's safe, Leicester home up next, nice a perfectly winable game for him to salvage his job. I hope those fans at the Hull game who refused to back the sackpardew campaign are happy, this is what you got another 2 or 3 months of this and we are down, no manager in the world could save us.

He's consistently put in horrible performances this season, but it's all getting swept under the carpet because of Colo's form and Pardew. Really is becoming a bit of a liability.
-
He's not getting sacked, stop deluding yourselves, not this week not next not until we see a change in ownership. Sick of not caring whether we win or lose. I should have been up out of my seat when Colback had that chance but I was relieved when it didn't go in, I don't want to feel like this, I really don't.

TBH Obertan should be starting games ahead of Gouf.

I dunno, I think in Sackpardew.com are getting this a little wrong, doesn't really matter that the stuff was confiscated, the reaction was exactly the same with our without the banners and cards. It was pathetic, the vast majority of the crowd didn't protest and showed zero sign that they support this movement, even at 0-2 there was no mass anger. Call out these supporters, ask them if they are happy with the football played, the results since the 5th place finish, the position at the bottom of the league, ask them what there solution is, if they reply "well it's all Ashley's fault we have to get rid of him" ask them how they go about achieving that when it's not something they can even hope to influence. I understand the need to keep people onside, but the lack of response to this at the match needs to be addressed. How have those from the group and indeed us on this forum got so far detached from public opinion ? Call them out challenge them to show us how wrong we are. Must admit I would have given up, if I were them after Hull, and said f*** this these fans deserve this charlatan, much respect to them for sticking with it and trying to stay positive about the campaign.

That a very good question, honestly I have no clue, how can we be so out of touch with what the majority are thinking ? Even online polls showed the complete opposite to what was clearly evident at yesterday's game. Maybe we could ask those, for want of a better term, "pro Pardew" fans that were at the match yesterday. What do you think is wrong with the club (if anything at all) and how do you suggest we fix it ? The sackpardew minority has tried and failed, so what do those with the opposite view suggest we do about a club at the foot of the table whose won 5 games in the last 30 or so. Come on you guys must be out there, Golfmag others ?

A few days ago, I could not have supported this view point, but now, after witnessing that today, I'm not bothered in the slightest if we go down and agree we fucking deserve it.
-
But it worked, we got a point at home to the mighty Hull Tigers
-
Yeah lets bring on Perez with 2 mins of injury time to play while we chase a goal. That'll work.
-
Taking some time to get used to the pace of the PL I guess, so many times he gets caught in possession it's unbelievable.
-
Should be given a chance ahead of Colback, mind you Anita would say the same thing.
-
Never agreed with the constant criticism of what is now our only genuine striker, but I wish he'd done a hamstring in training yesterday. I'll be first to admit, I was very critical of Cisse, frankly he's deserved it over the last couple of seasons, not helped by Pardew of course playing him on the wing. But if he can sustain this level, we may even stay up this season with Pardew in charge.

I don't really have much hate for him tbh, he spent his own money on buying a club, he can do what he likes with it, he can invest what he likes, hire who he likes, it's his toys to play with how he sees fit. The onus is on us as his customers to show him we don't like his product, we don't wish to buy any more of it. Will that force him to change, maybe, maybe not, but if we continue to sit on our hands and accept the status quo, then we will be continually fed this diet of crap. It's hard for us to change our allegiances, I wish in many respects I could just say, "fuck this, I'm going to start following Chelsea or ManShitty now". But we can't do that, this is the team we are stuck with, I guess the best we can hope to do is just not let the fortunes of the club effect us as much as they have in the past, lose a bit of that passion that we are renowned for, that's already happened for a lot of fans, I guess they are the smart ones.
-
I'm at a 9 right now, there's no end in sight to his reign and the longer it goes on the less likely we are to climb out.
-
Who got threatened, you ? If so what for and did you report it to the authorities ?
-
Got to say he was excellent when he came on, that was the old Papiss, shame he did it for that man.
-
Anyone else sick of hearing the line "the north east can be a great place to play while you are winning, but they show you how they feel when you're not. " Danny Dichio came out with this old Cliche this morning on Canadian TV, if only it were true.

Dear Golfmag, You're everything that is wrong with our club. Best regards, Brazil Thanks for that. Nice to know you can respect 40 years of loyal support and a rational debate. Or he can correctly call you out for talking bullshit and being part of the problem in the club we ALL support, not just you.
