Prediction ?
-
The early goal has been our problem though recently, when we've scored it we've stopped playing in the second half.
-
Lol there is something fascinating about watching that.
-
Where did you get that from ? Probably not true but would be highly predictable.
-
The goodwill built up during the last week with the signings would evaporate and we would be back to where we were. Hugely important that we don't lose, so that is why I don't see either side winning 1-1 like last year for me.
-
And if Pardew, does what Pardew does ?
-
You know Pardew is going to fuck up everyone's mood here don't you ? It's just so obviously going to happen.
-
I have one downtown (which is a 30 min journey from my office) at 2pm Mountain, so that gets in the way of things here, game kicks off around 12.45 my time. I've PVR'd it so will watch when I get home, but I can't stay away from the scores, however much I try.
-
I think Pardew will somehow find a way to include Shola in the starting 11, he'll say something along the lines of wanting to attack Villa with 2 strikers and Gouffran needs time to settle in. He may go Anita ahead of perch too, dunno about that one though.
-
Shit could you imagine this squad in the championship, surely we have enough now to stay up, surely par dew can't fuck this up ?
-
Absolutely delighted with this move. Caps off a fantastic window for us, perhaps Remy did us a favour after all.
-
Damn we are breaking his rules by signing too many players
-
To make it fair we paid £2.5million for Butt. How long before we mention Alan Smith for 6 mill, Albert Luque for 10million, Xisco for 6 million, Boumsong for 8 million, Guivarch for 3.5 million, Marcelino for 6 million, Owen for 16 million, Duff for 5.5 mill (although that was considered a bargain at the time) have I missed anyone ?
-
If we secure Sissoko, it will be great to be able to relax on transfer deadline day for once
-
Unless this is another quote, then it sounds like a little misinterperation there, this is what SKY say on their transfer centre: Newcastle United have told Sky Sports News at St James' Park that they have nothing more to add regarding Toulouse's statement on Moussa Sissoko. Sky Sports will bring you up to date as soon as there are any further developments. http://www1.skysports.com/transfer-centre/clockwatch

Come on Admins get on the CONFIRMED train !!!
-
Has anyone done the sums on how much our net outlay is for this and the summer window. All in all I will be more than happy just wish we could have secured these deals in the summer, perhaps then we wouldn't be in the position we are in right now.
-
This window is like when I play FM.

Eventually the beeb have joined in the fun and it appears that we have already converted him to a striker French club Toulouse claim on their website that striker Moussa Sissoko, 23, is set to complete a transfer to Newcastle United. "Moussa Sissoko will not finish his contract with TFC," which was due to expire in June, Toulouse announced in a statement. "Agreement has been reached with Newcastle for a permanent transfer which takes effect today." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/21176071

It's getting close to Valentines day so I think it's appropriate to tell him how much we love him.
-
Nothing on the BBC, sportsday live thing, although theey did mention that Isaac Vassel has signed a contract extension with Plymouth Argyle.
-
Think yourself lucky, the whole squad is younger than me, a fair few of them I'm old enough to be their dad
-
Really couldn't give a rats arse, I work in a multi cultural environment, we have people from India, China, Vietnam, England, Canada, Pakistan and Russia in my team and we all get along with one another. Everyone speaks English, so perhaps that slightly different, but I thik cliches are more the products of personalities than they are where a person originates from. There are plenty of English people I don't get along with, so assuming that it's a given that a cliche develops because a few people come from the same country is a bit too simplistic. If they are a "good lads" then we will have no problems at all.

What makes you think that it is? that blog suggest it's been ongoing for a while, even before he extended his contract, so doubt it's to do with serious ilness. Just a hunch. It's hard to tell as there's been no statement from either camp. If it were a life and death thing, Colo would be crazy not to leak that to the press, it would paint the club as the evil oppressor if they didn't let him walk. Legally it's perfectly in Colo's hands, he can retire from football, pretty sure that option is always available to him. If all it is, is that his wife isn't happy living in Newcastle, I'm sorry but that's not a big enough reason for the club to right of millions of pounds and further weaken our team during this critical period.
