Perch has been fine, the lad can't win on here. Probably stoke's best player is their left winger and I would rather have the better defensive player in my squad against him than the one that can't ping in a great freekick.

Why? Because Williamson is a penalty waiting to happen most of the time, Sol gives us more from a leadership point of view. Thought Sol and Colo together last night, looked pretty good. Williamson has been a steady eddy so far, but just think he's gonna get called for the holding he does constantly at some point. He reminds me a bit of Bassong who did very well for us but was always a little borderline. If he stay of the right side of the line he looks good but wouldn't take much to push him over.

Without any bias, you would have to take a home win here. Stoke have been woeful on the road this season and we've been in excellent form. 2-2 would be a surprise IMO.

I would start Sol ahead of Williamson tbh. Also would bring Jonas back in for Nolan, with Ben Arfa playing just off Carroll, and Jonas on the left. But that's never gonna happen

It's funny because we always talk about how thin our squad is and how we have to keep players fit. But this game is just further evidence that really most clubs, Chelsea included, if they lose 2 or 3 players will struggle. Think what's geat about this result so far (hope we can maintain it) is that it should be a huge lift for the squad players, they are good enough to go to one of the best teams in the world and compete.

I just looked at the next 5 games, wow these games will really define our season, if we can come away with 10 points from them (which is far from impossible) weèll be well on our way to survival, fail to pick up more than 4 or 5 then we will be up against it for the rest of the season.

I worry about us losing him tbh. I guess it was a sensible move to bring him in on loan but the danger is if he's a big success, other more successful clubs will be sniffing around. Yep, it was good to draw them early. No doubt they'll pick it up. We've played 3 out of the 16 games, I honestly wrote off, anything from them would be a bonus, we've got 6 points from them which is excellent, but we need to start performing against our relegation rivals, otherwise it's going to be a long hard season.
