Defensively we look absolutely shit, tbh. One goal is never going to be enough here.

I dunno, too much negativity here. For me we played better than we did against Liverpool, yet lost 3-1. Man Shitty got lucky agian against us, we self destructed for the first goal, second was one of those that you just have to take your hat off to the other team, 3rd when we were desperately chasing the game was unfortunate, but that happens. Man Shitty should be shitting all over us, considering the money they've spent but the game was a lot closer than the scoreline shows. Loved their application today under adversity, we just didn't get the breaks in the penalty area like they did, happens sometimes.

Don't deserve not to have scored there, we've been better than 0-2, but for Krul's stupidity and then a great goal from Tevez, 90% of that half we've been the better team.

Got to admire their form in the league tbh. Thought they would have fallen into the usual Bruce mid season slump by now but no signs of that. Seems like the game against us was the exception rather than the rule. They've become a very hard team to beat, but still don't get enough goals so hopefully more teams will work out how to break them down like we did and they'll go on a slide, that's wishful thinking though right now

I have no idea who this Murray bloke is, I guess he's presenting MOTD now is he ?

I don't know what to think of this tbh. My first reaction is to always look to see how it will effect us. As others have pointed out, if likely his next stop will be West Sham. And if he follows form he'll keep them up, considering I and most others had them as relegation certainties, that's not a good thing for us. Of course there's "Where do Blackburn go from here ?" Well you would think they would be looking for a bigger name or a manager with a better reputation than Fat Sam. There's only two candidates, I see out there, that fill that bill, O'Neill and Jol. As laughable as it may seen both may see the Blackburn job as more attractive than they saw the NUFC one, especially if they were promised a lot of money to spend. If Blackburn bring in one of those two, then they too are unlikely to go down. That's not good for us. Having said all that, hopefully West Sham will hang on to Grant for too long for Fat Sam to weave his magic and Blackburn leave this caretaker in for 2 months and then replace him with someone like Strachan. Then I can see both going down. Fat Sam and Blackburn were a good fit, for goodness sake they get less than 20k to go to there games, it's a shit hole of a town, what more could they expect than mid table PL football, even if it's truged to watch.

That's an absolute sitter, not sure if a Wolves win or draw is best for this game, playing Brum next also complicates the matter.

In a sense it might hurt us in the long run if Pardew decides to sign someone to push Jonas on the left. Long term are solutiuon there surely should be Ben Arfa, but if we bring someone in then Pardew may feel he does not have make Ben Arfa's loan permenant, I think that would be a huge mistake.

How old is supa kev now, most be at least 100

I've never truely appreciated his importance to us, until he's not there. The trio of Nolan Barton and Carroll are key to how we play, we are not nearly as effective when one of them misses a game. Lets hope they can all stay injury and suspension free until the end of the season.

I think today proved once again that we have the players to stay up, our problem has been squad depth and of course our looney owner. To think having 22 points after only 17 games that this sohould even be a question is strange, the way the league has been this season has been crazy. We are now 10 points clear of both West Ham and Wolves, I have a hard time seeing either of those two staying up. The real fight is for that last spot, and we are only 2 wins ahead f Wigan atm.
-
Why the fuck would he go to West Ham ? West Ham are rock bottom of the prem, certain to go down, with a charismatic and warm Manager (irony) and two owners who are almost as clueless as our own. If we lose Barton, it'll be to a club a lot bettert than West Ham United.

Well done to the lad today, we were are different side once he came on.
-
Outststanding again today, not quite as impressive as his game against Villa, but a totally complete and dominant display that deserved that great goal at the end.
-
Great win under the circumstances, but that is a poor Liverpool side. Much much better 2nd half, when Ranger came on.
-
Joey Barton and Andy Carroll have carried this team today, well done lads.
-
Tiote should thank Sol for that card
-
We canèt afford to give free kicks awaylike that
-
Take Jonas off ffs, useless cunt
-
Really should be 2-1, bad missed by Ranger
