Of course it is, its called common sense. It may be to you but other people have different views, you don't have to agree with them but at least respect their right to have an opinion, all this mocking and ridicule quite frankly makes anyone doing it look rather pathetic and childish and makes this place a very unwelcoming environment.

LOL, here they come. Predictable.

I'm a little concerned then by the boys quality, to be frank if Tuncay and Emre are considered better than him then I hope we are not looking at him. I know absolutely bugger all about him, not exactly a huge follower of the fantastic turkish league and youtube is such a liar. It is a selection question, that probably any other manager wouldn't answer the same way. They are playing different (in comparison to Arda) and the Turks will play against the biggest favourite of the Group first. They want to take the safer option, i think. Bet, he will play against Switzerland. If you are good enough, you'll get picked no matter what formation you are playing. Would England leave out Gerard or Rooney, because they want to play a bit more defensive against team X ? The turkish national team hardly supplies the premiership with the leagues best player. If we are interested in a Turkish player then they need to be of the relative standard of a Gerard or a Rooney is to the the Turkish team. (and before you start I don't mean as good as those two players, I mean as relatively better than the rest of the national team).

He has got some talent to be fair, he wouldn't be THAT bad. He's not the player he was, he's had his time, why should we be the club to give him one last big pay day. We've been mugs before to too many other players.

Cue. The ridicule and taunting for inpatients and panicking from the "bury our heads in the sanders" I agree with your sentiments but the grief you'll get by voicing your concerns won't be worth it.

Eggs. f***ing. Hactly. It's not about posting the fixtures though is it. It's about not being able to say "I think we'll beat X, Y & Z at home but lose to A & B away, maybe sneaking a draw at C". Not saying the site should pay it, just saying why it's such a pain. I'd like to think supporters and websites such as this for all clubs would be able to get together and try and make a noise about it. If the media got behind it and made everyone aware of how pathetic the PL's actions on this are, I think they'd back down to avoid the negative publicity of exposing how stupidly officious they're being. I'm sure it can't be legally right what they're doing either, it's just the fact that the mere threat of legal action causes ISPs to piss their pants and close sites down. Absolutely spot on UV. I'm not legal eagle but I have my doubts that their copyright would stand up in a court of law. If someone had the will and the money to challenge it, they would stand a good chance of getting the court to rule in their favour. That said, this forum is completely over the top about it. I'm still aghast that someone would remove my fictious part fixture list for a fixture list that hasn't even been published yet !!!! Sure the PL would win that case if they were stupid enough to take any action over it !!

I would take 10 million for him IF and it's a big IF we can find a resplacement because the squad is looking worryingly thin. I honestly wouldn't take a penny less than 10 million though, in today crazy transfer market, I season premiership player (he's made a hell of a lot appearances) who is still what 22 ? With a great record for the Under 21's. We are under no pressure to sell, he's on a long contract. Liverpool and Villa interest, Liverpool valuing Crouch on the last year of his contract at 15 mill. Lets screw other clubs like they screw us for a change.
-
No he has not, Milner has proved a hell of a lot more than huddlestone, a hell of a lot more. Simply because huddlestone has proved precisely nothing. Spurs will snatch their hands off if Everton are foolish enough to hand over that wedge for him.
-
I find it a little strange that we seem to be linked with a few player from a club that had all sorts of struggles last season, in a weak league. But perhaps that's too simplistic a view and these players are wheat amongst a lot of chaff.
-
It also has Liverpool offering £10 million for Milner. Well, when Everton are being linked with a 6mill bid for Tom "I have achieved albsolutely nothing, and no sign at all of fulfilling my potential" Huddlestone. Then 10 mill for Milner seems about right.

Totally agree, lunacy to bring him in, especially on the wage he'll command.

Still 17 pages of only very loosely football related. It's a fashion topic. How can these go: Oooh I like this that kit, ooh I don't like that one. End of story. But this is sort of crap we've got: "The floral motif really extenuates the lines of that kit. The use of colour brings out the seasonal feel to this little number." Ooh can someone please photoshop this one, lets see what it looks like in black and white stripes. OMG, that looks great. It's a sign of my boredom level that I'm actually adding to the post count, to my vote for the lamest thread ever. lighten up this thread has more relevence than some of the s*** written on here But at least the other s*** is vaguely interesting, excepting that shot of the Northern Ireland girls, now if every post were like that I would not be such a grumpy old sod

I know I am ;P But I'm all for freedom of speech so please don't lock on my behalf, just move it to where it belongs, the General Forum. PS. I know you were being ironic , before you do a woosh !

Doesn't matter, it wasn't one of my better posts, they are few and far between anyways Just making the point that the PL can't copyright things that don't exist, they wouldn't exactly have much of a case if they took it to court.

-
You are freakin kidding me aren't you. It's not a bloody fixture list cos it doesn't bloody exist !!!

Flying over tomorrow apparently. Also did an interview for Azteca TV .................. http://www.yucatan.com.mx/noticia.asp?cx=10$0405060000$3835360&f=20080604 Google translation: Giovani is Tottenham, said the player 11:12 p.m. Drafting Multimedia In an interview broadcast on Television Azteca rest of the match tonight in San Diego, between Mexico and Argentina, the Mexican striker Giovani dos Santos announced that it will play next season with Tottenham of the English league. Although it had several offers, the team's English was attractive, plus who knows the technical eleven London Juande Ramos, according to the player said in an interview taped in advance. The transfer to Tottenham Giovani had already been given as moored for some days, although it said the English club wanted to make sure that the Mexican was good of the operation in the left ankle which he practiced after completing his latest commitment to the Barcelona Spanish. His father apparently also confirmed his brother Jonathon would be joining him at Spurs. When the deal is announced, it's widely expected that there will be at least one other player announced at the same time. And the much-touted medical, Mr. Jol? I've never spoken about GDS's medical. Dunne was booked for a medical on Friday but he fell by the wayside before then. Richard Dunne was with me on Friday and said the last thing he'd ever do was go to Spurs. Seriously man, you're a f***ing embarrassment to yourself. Have you ever had one bit of ITK knowledge which you've posted on here which hasn't had a backdoor getout policy attached to it? I heard that Newcastle might be signing a £90m player tomorrow, but there's every chance that it might not actually happen. There's talk of a press conference, which may or may not happen. FFS who gives a s*** whether any ITK bollocks written by anyone is true or not. This is a fans forum. This isn't exactly the place to come if you want offical confirmation or anything. I know what we should do, lets ban any ITK talk, also since most people have a problem with it, lets ban any press speculation, they talk a load of crap anyway. So lets have constant threads about 4-3-3 or who's got the fanciest kit. Fantastic.

FIXTURES LIST REMOVED - FIXTURES MUST NOT BE POSTED ON THE FORUM. KK's teams have a history of starting well.

Hell this is dull, I'm so bored. Nothing is happening, we aren't seemingly close to buying anyone, we haven't sealed the deal on any of our contract extensions. We've not sold anyone yet, though that could dhange soon. And we've not even seen particuarly strong links in realtion to getting rid of oir dead wood. Can't someone make up some ITK bollocks, just to give us something to talk about ??
-
Are you sure? Hehe I changed it, even though it was about the most sense I've ever talked on here

TBH and not being disrespectful to Blackburn. But they'll have done bloody well to get him. We all have our opinions on the job he done here but don't let that disguise the fact that he was incredibly successful in relative terms at Bolton. Blackburn are a similar size of club to Bolton and expectations on the quality of football and results should be similar. For me this would be a great appointment for them.
-
I can see Crouch moving and I can us being in for him but doubt we'll be his final destination.

Wow, here's me thinking there had some update on this story. But instead we seem to be talking about Buffalos and facial hair.
