Rafa also wanted Manquillo and Lejeune...........both are f***ing woeful Take away Torres,Alonso & Reina and he also signed some absolute dross for Liverpool Not like Centre Backs to need time to bed in when moving to not only a new league but new country, but no you write him completely off. Write him off??......hes f***ing terrible man no better than Mike Williamson worse probably. Give me some things that you see in this plank that makes you believe theres a decent player in there See, i've held off replying to any of your posts so far because you're obviously either drunk or on day release, but i've hit my limit. That statement right there is grade A horse-s***. Mike Williamson is one of the worst CB to ever play in the Premier League IMO, Lejeune just needs time to adjust and maybe a bit of protection in front of him. You didn't really answer his question though !

Come on man, get your facts straight, it was 20 million, 4 million in add ons if he got called up for England and we made the champs league in his first season !
-
Goes without saying that we need to not lose this, a draw might not be enough though. I didn't think Moyes had it in him but since the narrow loss to Man City they've been excellent, going to be tough to get anything there now.

Obviously not someone we should be targeting but getting the deals lined up now is an example of what we should be doing right now, if we want to get out this mess. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42414457 I don't buy the "deals take a long time nowadays" line, there is nothing to stop us negotiating with the selling clubs and agents when the window is close with a view to conclude when it opens. I hope there are deals when on there way to being concluded already and we are not still in the "lets assess what we need" stage.

Until we sign anyone that fixes our situation we are down, the squad has shown over the first half of the season that it's not fit for purpose. 80% chance right now is absolutely fair.
-
Eddie Howe didn't do to bad returning to Bournemouth. I think Pulls would keep them up no problem, that's his skill set and the group of players is more than good enough to survive. Hughes staying put for a little while longer is what we need, he's clearly lost the players and the fans, their goal difference could be a killer for them but they do have a good set of fixtures coming up.
-
I was shouting for him to come for the ball in the build up to the goal, that's what a proper keeper at this level does.

Been at an 8 for a while now, still there after today. the 2 points away for certain are based purely on the hope Rafa gets the funds he needs and he doesn't waste it. 15 points is an absolutely pathetic total at this stage, worst in our PL lives I believe, absolutely have to get something at West Ham, which is going to be very tough now since they've found form from nowhere.

I don’t think you can attach that importance to a game that we’re always likely to lose. It comes at a bad time, but it was never 3 points we were likely to get. The importance of it is that we'll surely drop into the bottom three if we lose, psychologically that could be a killer for us. We've created this situation by not getting anything in games we needed to. -

It's vital we don't lose, but we probably will. -
One day up, one day down. Fed up with the whole saga now.

That's awesome Kasper, how to tell a story in a couple of frames.
-
It would be if this was October or November, but there is very little a new owner can do in time now.

We are as good as down if the relegation clause thing is true and if I were PCP I would be standing firm on that one. Ashley won't give in, he's way to stubborn. With every defeat the likelihood of a takeover becomes less and less, if this report is true.
-
We've never been relegated the following season from promotion so if you have 40 years history watching us you wouldn't expect us to be relegated this season. Not that we don't look like relegation fodder of course.
-
There was no evidence, we never saw him play for the club since Rafa arrived. He had a loan spell in Holland where he struggled to regain his fitness at Ajax, but did OK job in that other club he went to (never remember if it was AZ or Twente). I refuse to believe he had fallen below Elliot and Darlow's extremely low level. And sels was his first signing, obviously someone he had scouted extensively and close to top of his list, since the deal was concluded very early in that window.
-
Don't forget he also f***ed our goalkeeping situation too by not being allowed to buy one at all! Useless tossbag. He did buy one last season, an awful one that's now out on loan. He also let go of a keeper that was a great servant for the club for over a decade and was probably still our best option. He's not totally blameless in the keeper situation.
-
He's not sold it yet.
-
I think our odds are based soley on the thoughts that a takeover will transform us. Swansea are rightly favourites, Huddersfield WBA and Brighton have been in as bad form as us with little quality to call upon also. Palace though seem to have turned the corner a little and I would personally drop them a couple of spots on that list to where we are. Surprised Stoke aren't higher up.

What did you expect to find ?
-
I'm sure his post match interview is anything but enlightening but what did he have to say ?
-
I wouldn't have entertained selling him prior to the season, but he's been so ineffective, making silly decisions and clearly doesn't work in Rafa's system anymore that it's time to move on. Cut our losses on him, Mitro, Ritchie and Gayle because none of them are what Rafa wants or needs, but make sure you replace them with players that fit his requirements.

Did you watch the first half of that game? We might’ve lost but we didn’t deserve to. The first half performance was the best we’ve played recently and the second half performance came from a combination of being deflated after going in behind, and fat Sam parking the bus. I've not seen any of the game, I'm really basing my comment on our general performance over the last couple of months, which simply hasn't been good enough, as the manager he has to take some responsibility for that.

Could have done without West Brom and West Ham not getting something against top 6 sides, we could well be bottom by the weekend, if we do hit that low point, think we are doomed.
