  1. We deserve to go down based on this performance it’s horrible against a team we have got to be beating at home.
  2. We really can’t afford to lose this, it’s all Brighton now after that bright start for us.
  3. It was putrid, they look more likely than us and they don’t look very likely at all. Need to step it up considerably in the second half.
  4. If anyone is anything other than of the mind "at least we didn't allow our GD to get destroyed" after that, then they are out of their mind. Time to move on from this, it's over and we now have games that are way more important to us coming up, unfortunately the way the PL is today this was a game we had little chance in and very nearly got something out of. The PL is crying out for a salary cap but there is no way to employ that in a global game like football.
  5. Same result as last season would be great, we owe them one after early season loss, thought we were a little unlucky on the day.
  6. Could go either way that appointment, his teams play in the style they’ve become accustomed to at Swansea but his record at Sheffield Wed isn’t great for a PL manager. He might be someone who manages better at the top flight though than he odes in the lower reaches as his style would favour it more and he has better players to work with. PRobably though an appointment aimed at next season, they may have thrown the towel in on this one, if they don’t invest in January that will be a clear sign. HE is someone who knows the champo and they feel will get them back up, although his record doesn’t show that it’s certain.
  7. All the best you miserable bastards, hope there is a wonderful present for all toon fans sometime very soon. Enjoy the festivities everyone.
  8. Not convinced Pulis at Boro is a good idea for them in the champ. He’s a negative manager, he relies heavily on stoping the opposition playing first and foremost. To get out of the champs with one of the bigger names you need to be on the front foot more often than not, not sure his style will work. He did take Stoke up but they went up with the lowest points total in PL history.
  9. The match stats are kind of crazy for a Pardew team, but they still lost http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/42375901
  10. The win today will have helped massively, I feel. Beat Man City and it'll happen the next day in my view Course that's not going to happen.
  11. Pleased for the lad, especially after that early clanger, him and Diame really should be proud of themselves this evening, the played big parts in the win.

The bottom two look dead certs at this stage unless, Swansea can get some new manager bounce. Pardew is rapidly missing his window where he is effective. For the thjird spot, it's anyone from almost half the division, ridiculously tight.
  13. For once I am able to sing the right words to Jingle Bells I have drummed into my kids, feels good: "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Jingle all the way oh what fun it is to see Newcastle win away".

Brighton win was bad news what's happening to Watford why couldn't we have played them in this form.
  15. He was awful today tbh, but made the most crucial save that probably won us the game. Happy for him.
  16. That is a fantastic win it really is, considering the team we had out,our form and the form of the opposition
