  1. Please pick all 11 starters from Brighton next week.
  2. Lawro's prediction table is funny, obviously doesn't like both clubs, has Stoke bottom with zero wins and us third bottom with zero wins. Love these experts, where would we be without them. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/41243874
  3. Shockingly stupid tbh, especially if you are already on a yellow.
  4. Gonna hang on to our CL place , can't see Arse getting 3 goals without replay in the last 10 mins.
  5. They'll be up for this, after we beat them twice last year and pipped them to the title. I expect them to rely heavily on their home form this season, would naturally take the same performance and result as last season. Think it will be a draw though with both teams playing negative crap.
  6. He did make a couple of good saves, but to balance out he was way too slow getting down to their goal, a more agile keeper saves that, made up for it with the other saves though.
  7. He f***ed up. Working under Hodgson now as well, who clearly has never really fancied him. Didn't Hodgson give him his England debut ? Not sure, it's a question not a statement.

We missed way more chances in the game today than Stoke, all of Joselu's misses were gilt edge chances worse than the one real miss they had. Huddersfield had one chance and took it, Swansea had perhaps two all game, West Ham were barely in the match, even spuds didn't really create a lot, when it was 11 v 11 they hadn't created anything. Rafa stops other teams playing, we've not been lucky at all in our wins and a little unlucky against Huddersfield for sure, really should have been playing against 10 man spuds for 60 mins too, if the ref had some balls.

He's just a good defender, you can put him anywhere along the back four and he'll do a job for you. Thought he started poorly today, gave the ball away cheaply but once again grew into the game, thought he was maybe a little less than 100% fit. Not in any hurry for the return of Dummett like.
  10. I just watched it in Canada and you are right. I couldn’t believe how articulate and listenable he was, remembering how he was as a player. He's been doing the show for a long time now, he is really good, still loves the toon, he's admitted himself that he's still a fan and you can tell how much more upbeat he is when we've won.

That is excellent like, very appropriate we've still obviously got to become Ace Rimmer though, not putting a dampener on thing but will we ever become him, with Ashley in control ?
  12. What a horrendous post. Fairly reasonable one like Yeah I'm not quite sure what was so controversial there, but whatever.

I wouldn't been surprised if he makes the next England squad, I think it's probably too early for him, but he his certainly FOTM right now. NUFC doing the right thing in tying him down before the England call.

FFS, every win Stoke aren't s****. I took that line last week and stood by it: Swansea offered nowt and West Ham were terrible. But Stoke have dangerous players and didn't play badly. We snuffed em out today and deserve masses of credit for the win. Looking very promising. This is the big thing everyone, including ourselves miss with Rafa's teams. The amount of times this season and last, you could say that the opposition was terrible is staggering, it's not just luck. It's clearly a firm ploy/tactic to neutralise their strengths, if you do that you only have to play average at best to beat them. Rafa is an absolute master, it's just crazy Ashley is f***ing this up for us.

Not sure if we will hang on to this Champs league spot, like

We've got 50% more points from just over half the number of games, and they play in a "pub" league, I remember on RTG early season, one of the Mensa's over there said "We maybe crap right now, but we would still beat the mags, their squad is awful", it's this stupid which is both mind blowing and wonderful as they are the best rivals you could ever hope for, so deserving of their current misfortune.
  17. I don't get this. We've been so much better since the hour mark of the Huddersfield game and that's surely no coincidence? We've looked a different prospect since then and the last 3 games. Mainly thanks to having that focal point up front. We've needed a focal point for sure, but really Gayle was so bad in those first couple of games, virtually anyone could have offered more. I've seen nothing from Joselu to show he's anything more than the 5 million striker we bought. Picking up a proper striker was a big mistake this off season, we've got one that can't stay out of trouble, another that offers so little to the team when he's not scoring that it's like playing with 10 men for the most part and a third that on today's evidence is the 6 goal striker he was last season. If we are playing with one up front they have to be relied upon to score more than that, we were not talking about half chances today, 3 times he was wide open on goal and once hit the target with a back pass to the keeper.
  18. Could have cost us the game today obviously, he's a lucky boy that we got that second. Looked like a 5 million striker today. I must admit, I'm not convinced, even before today. Would personally go with Gayle next game but expecting Rafa will keep faith.
  19. My Stoke supporting friend told me the other day that he didn't rate Ritchie at all, gonna meet him this week and ask him if he still thinks that 2 more assists today, is it 4 out of the 6 goals this season, he's assisted on ?
  20. Bemba given the ball away a couple of times, doesn't seem fully fit to me
