Honestly think we're justified in running another Sela Cup, except for a £20 million prize for the winner. It's fucking grotesque that Chelsea are going to bailed out by this.
Damn, that's a pity. Other than Burn, a pretty shoddy week for our England contingent. Lewis Hall looked nailed on for England's left back, but Arsenal's Myles Lewis-Skelly is now taking his chances to make it his own.
They've probably been sensible enough to check the weather - wet and windy. 3 hours potentially hundreds of yards away from a stage, not able to sit down, struggling to find a clean toilet and no beer to enjoy.
Planning, consultations, environmental studies and plenty more obstacles will likely take 1-2 years to get through. Then there'll be a technical design process lasting a couple of years after that (unless they've already started behind the scenes) Then a phased build of around 3-4 years. I'd be surprised if we have a new ground before 2032.
Surely ET isn't going to make much difference with fatigue when they have 5 days to recover? ET to pick up a injury on the other hand...but these twats never seem to suffer any misfortune whatsoever.
