Colo and Shola suck up to Pardew no question. Simple as that. Both non-frenchies so didn't hesitate to whinge about Ben Arfa. It's why Shola got games ahead of him, while Colo who was whining about going back to Argentina not long before, came straight back into the team ahead of, and to the cost of Yanga-Mbiwa's progress, despite him really beginning to find some form.

Can't believe that lot have over taken us so quickly.
Wey, they haven't though. They just have our best player and (goes without saying) a better manager.
I was looking through their team today ... they have surpassed us man. They have better centre backs, midfielders and strikers. Hull City.
Mostly because Pardew has ruined all of ours.
That's simply not true like. You're being a hypochondriac. They haven't 'overtaken' us aside from having our best player and a better manager, that's it. Not even worth debating.
I meant strictly team wise. I think theirs has surpassed ours. I don't even know who we have that is any good anymore. We're in a state.
That's simply horseshit like.
Okay, well I guess we'll have to disagree on that.
I have no problem with that. I like it when two people can just agree to disagree.
For sure. I do think we have some decent players, but maybe I'm just a bit too down on things at the minute. Pardew makes them look so poor, I worry if they can be redeemed sometimes.

Reached a cup final last year like. We finished 10th by a knats nadgers. Woohoo.
Wow, even forgot about that and all. Gave Arsenal a hell of a scare in that final too. We're so tragic right now. Pardew has to go asap.

To be honest, 3-5-2 with your players just doesn't make sense:
Rafael-Evans-Jones-Shaw
Blind-Herrera
Rooney-Mata-Di María
Falcao
Is the only way I can see you using your best players in the best possible positions.
Gosh we'd have to listen to all the pundits crying about Rooney being out of position again.
-
Cool ... guess we'll see. It's going to be interesting. Think I'll go with Falcao up top, as Rooney has done nothing so far.

Froggy man, who do you think will start upfront as Van Persie has said he's fit and doesn't need surgery! Will all three feature do you think, or is Rooney done?
Have to fit one of your strikers, and need to make the right call.
Rooney is the first name on the team sheet. Van Persie is the one in trouble I'd imagine if Falcao hits his best form.
Do you think Falcao goes straight in like Di Maria did?
-
Defensive wing-back in the 3-5-2? That'd be hilarious. He'd literally combust in a rage
Defensive wing back, centre mid, somewhere upfront. Wherever the f*** Van Gaal wants him to go. Mr Utility.
I think I agree with you. Don't see Van Persie being the one in trouble. Think Falcao is the main man upfront going forward.

34 is a terrible number though. Bleurgh.

Interesting number-crunching on Falcao here from the Washington Post. He takes penalties, and if you subtract them, his record at Athletico was similar in open play to Soldado and Negredo in La Liga. I found the article after watching a fan highlight film of him at Monaco which showed a few penalties and not that many goals from open play, certainly not 55M worth anyway.
But didn't Soldado and Negredo take penalties for their teams too?

You realise right now Steve Bruce is watching Ben Arfa in training with his jaw on the floor right? Asking himself what the hell Pardew was thinking right?
Ramirez, Ince and Brady are no kind of competition for him. Huddlestone and Livermore are central midfielders so they don't really factor.
-
Man, I hope he has some stand out performances live on Sky in the Champions League. Would be fantastic
-
Brummie's doing great. Villa are having a great season so far. With Benteke to return still. He'll get no prayers from me.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if as part of "Headbutt Gate" he forced Pardew to insert a no compensation clause if there wasn't one already, as reward for not seeking to sack him off then.

Watching those two clips I'm having to pinch myself again that we're going to be seeing a player of his skill in a City shirt. Especially when I used to get excited by Neil Mann attacking from midfield and games like this....On his day Hull City now have One of the Best players in the PL. Fact.
Great signing. Hopefully he does the biz and we can talk with him in January about a full deal ( as his contract is up @ Newcastle next summer).
A beautiful anticipation is buildingIf HBA plays to his potential we have got a player that could make a huge difference to our club in a position we have really been lacking a real contributor. Exciting times for us.Can't believe how much that enrages me
Can't be mad at them at all. In fact, if anything it just proves why people love football. Good luck to them, I can't have any qualms with anyone that appreciates a player like Ben Arfa.
Not angry at the Hull fans, just what has all come about, because of Pardew. That just emphasizes the joy we'll be missing out on.

What an idiot the Bird guy is.

Swansea are run extraordinarily well. Exceptional standards over there.
To think that Martinez, Rodgers and Laudrup all were there, and now Monk has just slotted in nicely is quite impressive.

It always takes ages to get rid of an English manager when they are failing miserably too, because their pals in the media will fabricate all sorts of follies about how well they're doing. Really frustrating.
