We're definitely going to get another CM in to replace Longstaff, but really like the idea of getting Clark in as an additional one because Willock is just too much of a liability. This is apparently a loan with a £5 million option too. This kid was very highly touted and got some games when he was even younger at Liverpool and looked very promising. If he hasn't settled in Austria and has been made available think they should go for this.

Sesko, his agent and Leipzig have been doing this since last year summer with Arsenal. They are batshit crazy I'm pretty comfortable with this going either way now. A part of me wouldn't mind him going to Man Utd and absolutely tanking his career I would take immense pleasure in that after all this carrying on.

I don't understand why they don't go big on a midfielder or two that can get the ball off the defenders and then through to the two 10s they play with. All game yesterday this was the issue they had. Ugarte and Mainoo weren't able to find the space to get on the ball and connect the defence to the attack. Fernandes when dropped into the midfield also doesn't quite do that either as he's too aggressive trying to play balls in behind from deep. Their system essentially plays with two central midfielders and so they really need two very good ones in there, as they will mostly be going up against teams with three midfielders. Thought Garner, Gueye and Iroegbunum controlled the centre of the pitch relatively easily as they had a lot more energy, speed and power.

Again more needless chatter. Leipzig have still not accepted any bid that will then let everyone know what the player is thinking.

I don't think any of these journalists have a clue what's going on. We'll be working on agreeing on conditions that suit Leipzig, after they wanted changes made to the structure of the bid we put in. Until we actually have a bid accepted all the chat going on is just noise.
