Imagine if Shola is played upfront alone with Cisse still on the right.
I would actually burst out laughing.
This isn't remotely possible is it?
I would stay back after the match and kick the s*** out of Pardew, even he's not that daft though.
I imagine a number of people would.
Oh god Pardew ... please don't do anything silly with the lineup tonight.

Cisse's movement is outstanding, needs the ball deliverd through to him on time though, which is why it would be great to see a proper attacking mid in behind him.
The guy will score goals. No doubt.
Everton will be tough though, so probably best not to jump on his case, if it doesn't quite click tonight in aprticular.
I'm hopeful though. Love the guy.

All these positive outlooks are warming my heart. Cheers guys.

I'll be 4-4-2 with Shola and Cisse.
Would still work better on the whole, as Shola's style of play, when he's awake, is a better fit to partner Cisse.
Really hope it's a 4-3-3 with Marveaux behind Cisse. That would have some exciting potential.

Other problem is now we need two strikers brought in.
Cisse and Ameobi are our only fully tested strikers.
We only have Xisco, Sammy, Campbell and Ranger if one or both of the above get injured.
Denzel Butcher.

Papiss through the middle in a 4-3-3? Come on, it's going to be a thrill. It is Everton though, which isn't the easiest match up, but I have no doubt he'll look much more of a threat tonight.
Really looking forward to it!

So for the second year on the trot we are about to suffer the indignity of losing the leagues best centre forward in a chain created by the same 2 odious clubs Chelsea & Liverpool. Their spoilt fans see unwavering investment on the field all the time year in year out.
Even Wigan & Reading have been quickly strengthening ahead of us since the window opened.
Carroll was the January before last so its twice in three years.
Yeah, last January was the one where we signed the leagues best forward actually.

Bet Wenger was lusting after him. Classy little player.
-
Should have sured it up at 3-3, at which point we were absolutely spent and Arsenal still had shitloads left in the tank. We looked absolutely knackered and the defense was all over the place, and he left us asking for it. Just the same as Manu except Arsenal were more ruthless.
The one time he should probably be a bit more defensive he wasn't.
Oh the irony ...
-
we looked knackered last 20 mins, Arsenal's extra days off have definitely helped them
-
Pardew's subs have undone us, today. We were looking like getting something from the game.
-
Missing Williamson. Hope the idiots who say play Perch ahead of him shut the f*** up now.
Please don't. Don't you dare.
-
Gibbs got Cisse on that one.

We have some unreal talent in this team ... it's actually incredible.
-
What a ball from Marveaux!!!
-
If only we'd played like this against the crap teams we'd actually have more points. Typical that we've only figured this out against the best, and so we're still not getting anything.
-
Coloccini heads it away from Krul's punch. Unreal misfortune mixed in with comedic abilities to defend. Fuck off.
-
Let's talk about the brilliance of Obertan ...

Tired of complaining about Simpson tbh. Just fed up.

Arsene and his zip man

Absolutely ridiculous that we haven't played like we have the past 2 games all season, what was Pardew thinking man?
Arsenal have been poor, but if we continue like this for most of the season we'll do alright, cannot wait to get Haten and Cabaye back.
If we'd had the team lineup the way we have recently, with actual attacking players in a 4-3-3, we would be so much better off.
Recent injuries have actually forced the likes of Marveaux and Anita into central midfield, and they've proven to be worth far more opportunities than they were getting at the start of the season.
Pretty exciting stuff. Just hope we really start getting points off of these performances.
-
Marveaux should start every game where he has today for the time being. Unreal perfromance from him so far.
-
Incredible performance.
Passing Arsenal off the pitch amazingly enough.

I would have Tiote take the penalties actually just for the extra entertainment and amusement.
The goal keepers would all just dive well out of the way to avoid getting maimed.
The only problem would be ensuring he actually hit the target, rather than continue to donate footballs to the Ivory Coast via air.
