Obertan does seem to look better on the left side.
Good contribution just then.
Really happy for Obertan and Cisse. Beautiful.

Please stop turning and running at a number of defenders when there is no support.
You're the lone striker, so please bring others into play.
Frustrating.
-
When Cisse was upfront and Ba was dropping off him, Ba's link up play was horrendous and so we couldn't sustain any attacking play enough to create chances for Cisse.
Ba played him in once the whole damn game, and you hold it against Cisse for missing and being offside?
Cisse is a far better striker when he is upfront, and someone who can pass him the ball plays off him. His movement is exceptional, as is his finishing.
Can't agree with the number of people claiming Ba is a better striker, and more worthy of that central position. No chance for me.
-
He hasn't looked the same player this season, especially these last few weeks.
Ba for me has been the better player this season and should lead our line in a 4-3-3.
Cisse has had chances recently and he's either wasted them or been offside. That's nobody's fault but his own. In the last few games he's been in the box a lot of the time.
He's been s***.
Cisse has never played out wide in his life!
Of course he has to play centrally if we wnat to see the best of him.
Yeah, he's had a slow start, but the way to get him to snap out of it, is to make him as comfortable as possible.
At the very least both he and Ba should rotate positions at least some of the time, or per half.
-
Pardew would probably get Remy and start playing him up top alone with Cisse out wide still!
The guy ust scares me man, no confidence in him knowing what on Earth he's doing.
-
Here's the thing with Cisse. Has never previously played out wide as far as I know.
Ba on the other hand played exclusively on the left at Hoffenheim.
I'm sorry, but if Ba doesn't want to play there for the better of the team, then he sits. Period.
Especially as it is also increasingly looking as though he won't be around much longer, as he is not happy to sign a new contract.
-
Huge over reactions.. poor Tiote, takes so much of the possession for us, given the ball under pressure all the time, we play back to him way to much.
Agree completely.
Always tries to turn into space and make something positive out of it, but is increasingly struggling to do so.
Has no help or support whatsoever half the time.
-
boarding up the training ground, clearly worked a treat, because it takes a genius to work out where Pardew plays his players and formations.
The paranoia is a clear sign he's cracking up.
Really thinks it takes that much effort to dismantle his rubbish teams and tactics.
Clearly rates himself.

Half the problems stem from him ducking the Ba/Cisse descision. No such hassles at Villa where the hardworking Benteke has cast Bent into the wilderness. Descision made early doors. It's called being a manager.
He's a coward.
Up till now still hasn't sorted that situation out, but will slag off the youngsters and reserves, after not preparing them well enough for the bordeaux game.
The man's an idiot.
-
Great player, trying his best for the team, in a position he has no business playing in.
Suffering greatly for it, and completely losing his sharpness.
-
This guy is practically undroppable under Pardew, and you have to wonder why.
What on Earth are these coaches seeing when they review the games?
-
Funny thing is after this, the way Pardew's mind works, he'll be even more obsessed about being more solid and defensive.
We'll probably start with Perch, Tiote, Anita, Bigi, Williamson and Coloccini next game.
All our problems however, stem from a toatal inability to keep decent possession, and have any clue going forward.

Pardew loves Jonas.
How the hell does Jonas play 90 mins today?
Lord give me strength!
All because he tracks back? Well that's just great, except he's th eone giving the ball away everytime.
The guy is worthless out wide. Utterly and completely. For 90 mins Pardew couldn't see this.
Instead he was waiting with baited breath for the 60 mins mark so he could yank off Ben Arfa because he was 'off the pace'.
My God!
-
It might have been Hatem was being protected (the hamstring)....But bringing on Shola instead of Marv who has been playing really well lately...Just ming boggling. First thing Shola did was give a free kick away and the second thing he did was fall over the ball.
Pardew hates flair man! It scares him!
The guy was a bargain basement clogger. He can only handle one flair player per game. Even with Ben Arfa he's constantly itching to take him off.
The guy is a flat out loser.
-
"Played some of our best attacking football of the season...."
Pardew is a fucking mess ...
-
For some reason I am absolutely livid at losing this game more than any other game this season. I think when Ben Arfa scored, and we had that dominant spell, I genuinely thought we could go on to win it. f***ing distraught to be honest.
Sidwell and Baird ...
-
Guys everything is fine ... Pardew just needs time. Let's all remember he was manager of the year last season.

Can I just say Ba's passing and general play is just atrocious.
-
One man team ...
-
-
These crosses are so pointless.
Ba needs to show short sometimes and mix it up.
Man we're awful ...
-
Don't know what some of you lot are watching. Most of are positive play in open play have coem from Tiote-Anita linking up.
I can see both sides of the argument!
They're both taking the most risks, but therefore also making a number of errors.
I agree with you though, because they're trying to make things happen, but no movement with people not showing enough for them to make their lives easier.
We're just so awful with our movement it's unreal.
-
Can see Cisse going off for Shola at half time, which would be incredibly depressing
Please don't say this ...
-
Imagine Jol managing our team ... enough to make one cry.
Look at the meagre pieces hes working with for goodness sake, and they're showing us up.

We'd better not lose this. Would be heartbreaking.
