Really good sign this. This guy is highly rated and is coming off a really good season in the Belgian league. They also already signed Burkardt a couple of weeks ago, who's been really good in the Bundesliga already.

Well they should care, because we are buying Ekitike not as some contingency plan, but to interchange with and pair with Isak. And so, if they want to take a run at Isak the offer has to be one we feel uncomfortable rejecting, and so a whole lot more than that ridiculous £120 million package. They're operating as though we have secured a replacement, and are looking for a buyer!

There is a chance they thought the best time to show clear interest was once we were close to securing another striker. No one seems to understand or believe that we are looking to rotate and pair our strikers together at times. The last time both Isak and Wilson had a good run of fitness, they were both playing games and scoring goals, and featured as a tandem a decent amount, and it ultimately fired us into the Champions League. They will soon learn.

I've felt from the start that a lot of this noise could well be instigated by his agent, to help get the best deal they can in contract negotiations with us. Froggy was proclaiming they'd get £60 million for him, and so ask him how he feels about £40 million, which I think will be the absolute best at this point, so I'm not even confident they get that at all.

Garnacho is amongst a set of players that they're not allowing to train with the first team, who have publicly proclaimed they want to leave, and who have all been labelled as malcontents. Clubs are going to offer way below value for them, or wait to get them on loan. They are in real trouble regarding sales for these guys. The move for Man United was to do everything to convince Bruno to go to Saudi for that £100 million that was offered. But they bottled it. Absolute best case scenario for Garnacho will be around £40 million, but I'm not sure I can even see that happening now.

This is another thing. The deals that have happened so far this summer, have only really served to push Isak's fee even higher if anything. And here's Liverpool communicating that they're ready to pay £120 million if we're interested in selling. As though they're doing us some sort of favour!

What on Earth are Liverpool doing?! £120 million This reeks of "we tried" before they then sign a Mateta. They're just making a bunch of noise through these journalists and aren't even making any bids It looks as though Liverpool are trying to call our bluff on the £150 million plus fee claims, as far as what we want, and they are finding out that we weren't joking around. I also don't think Ekitike really interests Liverpool, otherwise I doubt he would have progressed so far in potentially signing for us if Liverpool had been in contact with his people over the summer as a potential option for them. This is looking like desperation from Liverpool. It's so weird man. Like they really thought we'd accept this £120 million package.

Yeah, Gyokeres would have been great for them. I think there was talk they had a chance if they had qualified for the Champions League by winning the Europa final. Sesko is another that you can play through in build up, but think he can also lead the line, so he has some versatility. In his partnership with Openda, he's more the deeper striker though.

They're already in the process of ruining another young striker that drops deep to link play and create chances in Zirkzee. They play two tens and should be after a striker that is a more traditional forward that gets in behind and finds space in the box.

People really get so worked up about missing out on a signing that they can't even bare to watch a video on a player we're linked with?!!! I actually thought you lot were just messing about when you said that. Man, that is just sad. Cant imagine how miserable these summers must be for you!
