Yeah, at this point he can just refuse any move unless the salary is comparable to what he anticipates getting next summer as a free agent.

Yeah, they're a bit shady. Having said that, would have been great if we included one for both Minteh and Anderson, but we had no leverage at the time.
-
Turns out Liverpool included a buy back clause. Not surprised by that.

I can't tell you how much I didn't want to respond to this post. In fact going forward I'm just not going to engage with certain posters, because I kind of have a good idea of who I just don't jive with. Even with this response of yours I can tell you didn't take in what I posted. You're still talking about me wanting to be right all the time. No, I am simply returning the same sort of responses that so many of you love to dish out, but then get mad when the same is given to you.

I've ignored a couple of these kind of posts so as to not start an argument on here. But I'm going to answer this just once and then leave you guys to it, as I'm not interested in any back and forth on this. I love watching and talking football and typically try to do so in good faith on here. Now what will typically happen at some point is I'll share an opinion and someone will respond with a mocking or sneering post in response, with no real tangible rebuttal or reasoned argument. It's no kind of thought out alternative viewpoint where any kind of pleasant discussion can be had. Often times it's clear they haven't even bothered to read what I posted properly. Now personally, I find this incredibly irritating. And so of course I do not hesitate to call them out on it later, when it backfires. And to no surprise they then respond in annoyance with posts like yours, completely forgetting how insufferable they were acting in the first place. I'm sorry, but you can't challenge what someone says in the manner that is often done on here, and then have a meltdown when you're pulled up on it at some point. That is outrageous.

Wow. That's crazy.

We'll see how it plays out over the next few years. I think there's a lot to work with there. Seen far better defenders do similar in their early years. Stones at Everton was full of blunders.

Well done Anderson. So many on here thought he was ordinary and wouldn't amount to much on his way out last summer at 21/22 years old. Scoffed at the fee Forest paid. One year of full experience in the first team and he looks so much more confident, assured and accomplished. Too quick to label young players that haven't got enough experience, as not being good enough. Seeing the same thing with Quansah right now.
-
That was pitiful from Stansfield man.

Think you just can't come to a complete stop at any point.

I can see it happening. One season in Europe with Palace, if they don't get kicked out, and then leave on a free and get a huge contract for it. Will likely be looking for a decent pay day this summer knowing he has that option in a year's time. Will be very surprised if we are still in for him.

Tino is fantastic. The right back for Flamengo was really good against Chelsea yesterday, and is apparently the other player Man City have been looking at for the position, so hopefully they piss off and go get him instead.
-
England are on fire here. Tino looking tasty down the right side.

Fantastic play by the overpriced and shite Quansah

Imagine actually stating that a team that just won the title and signed Van Dijk and Salah to new deals at their age ... is not in win now mode. Because they signed two young players, one of whom was one of the best left backs in the league, and the other who was one of the best players in Germany. So incredibly clueless.
-
This South African team has been surprisingly good. Giving Dortmund a good game. Just been too wasteful.
-
Yeah, we were linked a fair bit over the past year, coming off the fantastic showings he had in the Euros, but the Turkish media is crazy unreliable. Clips from this past season at Gala. Watched a fair bit as I was following Osimhen's amazing season there.

Liverpool are in win now mode they are not going to drop Konate for Quansah based on his promise. That would be ridiculous. They've done the right thing in letting him go, like he wanted, so he could play more. He's done the right thing in leaving so he can play more now, and quicken his progression as a player. Leverkusen have taken a good bet on him that I'm pretty certain will pay off for them.
-
I think within the next 3 years Leverkusen make a healthy profit on him, selling him back to a club in the Premier League. He's very inconsistent at the minute and really just needs regular minutes in the first team, which I imagine he'll get at Leverkusen. When he got a good run due to Liverpool's injuries the season before last, he flashed a lot of promise. Think he has a really high ceiling if it all comes together. He's only just turned 22 this year and so plenty time on his side for a centre half. His data looks really good for a centre back of his age playing in the Premier League. Not at all surprised Leverkusen were happy to pay what they did. I'm sure they're confident they'll get that back and more in a few years, especially with him being English and filling that home grown quota for Prem teams.

Vlahovic despite looking the part physically, really gets pushed around by defenders. Was shocked at how much he got bullied in the Euros last year. Was always ending up on the floor under a bit of pressure. I'd be worried about him adapting to the Premier League. Would have to be a system that just has him looking to get in behind and not get involved in play and hold off defenders.
-
Euros. So just over £30 million. We got around the same for Minteh. Why is this such a surprise?

Phenomenal head loss. This place is finished.
