Have we ever been relaxing?
I'm really tired of it Mike ...

Two nil Brighton ...
Minteh scores and overhead kick from his own penalty box.

Was looking forward to a nice relaxing game today. So much for that.

By blaming Schar you're falling for the bullshit excuses for a disgraceful decision. What's Schar done other than stand his ground after being aggressively shoved to the floor?
How many more fucking times do you have to watch these idiots screw up these decisions before you realise they'll keep doing it, and it's never going to change?
-
It's not a head butt or a red card.
But just like he still got sent off, they'll stick to their guns and the three match ban.
-
3 match ban man ...
Honestly, I'm absolutely fuming at Schar for falling for that cheap trick.
If anything he should have rolled around himself after that push, if it came after the whistle, and got Diaz booked.
So impossibly dumb.
-
Just need to get the 3 points or today will be such an impossible downer man.
Thank goodness we took the lead and have a chance.

Ref had blown his whistle before for a foul on Bruno.Ah, okay. Missed that

Have you say though, I know there's a lot of understandable rust, but thought Newcastle weren't great pre-red card.
In that last friendly, really didn't think the guys that had commitments this summer looked great.
Just have to hope to pick up points early doors till everyone is up to speed.

Hadn't the ref already blown for the foul on Bruno, hence the reason Schar was so pissed off with the pricks push in the back?
Had he? Didn't notice if that was the case.

How can officiating be this bad with VAR? How?
I'm more surprised that people are still expecting different.
It should be a point of emphasis before every match to warn the players off of falling into these traps.

Schar doing that annoying thing he does at times at the back, of dwelling on the ball and inviting the pressure, in the lead up to that. Wish he wouldn't.
The head butt is non existent really, but we know these decisions always go badly. Don't fucking give the refs these opportunities to screw us over!
Infuriating stuff.

Of all times for Joelinton to deliver the goods. What a hero!

I genuinely cannot believe Schar has fell for that hook line and sinker.
Poor from him
He's an idiot.
First game of the season at home against a promoted team, and getting wound up and scammed by Brereton Diaz.
-
So how many games does he miss? Is it three?
So much for the easy start to the season.
Already making things difficult for ourselves.
If we get a defender in, I wouldn't let Schar back in unless someone gets an injury.
-
Brilliant start to the season.
Absolutely top stuff from Fabian Schar to set the tone for the season.

Been saying I'm not sure he's ready defensively. Hopefully, he proves me wrong. It's a concern though.

Hall's was definitely a yellow mind. Daft defending.
Always my concern with him, now the real games have kicked off.

Well he does like the odd Prem experience player, but Bruno, Botman, Isak, Tonali, makes the only part a bit redundant. We want Guehi because he covers a multitude of things Eddie likes The Prem experience, 24 so plenty of scope to improve, not a dickhead, an ideal signing.
Absolutely don't doubt Eddie would want a non experienced Prem player, but he has his targets and it's about quality that he sees that'll fit into his system.
He'll be back spouting the same tired line in a few days, no matter what you say.

Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez are a ridiculous pair man
-
Oh wow ... so still with the line drawing and no automation? Embarrassing.

Who the hell is the Liam Delap guy?! I thought he was just a big strong bloke, but he's got skills too!
Was a promising prospect at Man City.
Could end up being a decent pick up for them.
Still pretty young too.
-
Robertson has been poor.
Tsimikas had a really good pre season too.
-
Ipswich side looks very organised and are bravely pressing high up the pitch.
Nice energetic start for McKenna and his team. Crowd is decent too.

The supposed "teenage" Brighton manager, already taking the mick.
