I think perhaps we were overly confident of the Guehi deal going through, and the majority of the money was going to be spent there. Once we got that shut down earlier on, it seems we finally woke up and realised we were sitting on a bunch of money and started exploring other avenues. I think Parish really stitched up Mitchell something proper, which is fair enough. Hope he had fun. We'll just have to take the L and learn from it.

Nunes really really fits our style of play. Would love that, but we'd have to be creative with our lineup. I remember Wolves played him as an attacking mid and on the right sometimes. Somewhat similar to how Emery uses McGinn wide left now, but slightly tucked in. If there's an opportunity to get a player of his calibre, and Eddie can come up with a clever way to incorporate him, I would be all over that 100%.
