Please, there's just a few more days then if things turn out like you're already anticipating, then you can go crazy with the complaints. Until then we can't be too sure what plans they have been working on in conjunction with the ones that are public. They've clearly decided to push things till quite late to get the best deals they can, so let's see. We can't complain about PSR and then complain when they are being tedious about how money is spent.
-
Sorry, but it's just getting a bit too much. Just complaining for the sake of it, on things we don't even have any idea about. There's going to be a storm of complaints if the window closes and we don't do anything, and so can we at least have a bit of peace where possible, before then? My goodness.

You have no idea when talks started or how long ago plans have been put in place behind the scenes. The propensity some of you have for just constantly complaining about things is disgusting.

Okay, cool. Couldn't remember, so just checking. Interesting info

This isn't smart at all. Chelsea have for a while now made a habit of giving really good players away. We should absolutely continue to take advantage of that. It doesn't appear they are bringing in any established decent players, or any kind of decent manager, and so it doesn't look like they are going to benefit anyway. They've spent a billion and look completely lost. If anything we should continue to facilitate exactly what they are currently doing.

Wonder if they are looking at him as a replacement for Alvarez for backup striker. Played very well against them in a pre season win.

Are you a Chelsea supporter?

Having followed Bonniface at Leverkusen last season I got to see a fair bit of them. They had a really great set of centre backs that played their 3 at the back system. Kossonou and Hincapie are younger, and tended to come in and out for their more experienced ones, but both are really talented. Kossonou is probably the best athlete of all their centre backs as he is very very quick. Against very physical strikers can sometimes struggle a bit. In the AFCON final, I remember Osimhen gave him some problems in that regard. And so will have to continue to improve in that area. Think people will love his pace especially. And he's a good defender in general and good on the ball. Just not as far along as Tapsoba is, and not as effortless and cool a customer. If we are in for him would be a good signing IMO.

My goodness man Even the admin are a shambles.
-
Absolutely crazy they never even asked a single thing about Newcastle. Ridiculous.
-
Apparently they paid him the same as what we offered to.
-
Yeah, agree on Tapsoba. He is the most gifted of the centre backs we've been linked with this summer. The title winning experience is also massive. I also agree on Disasi. He's got ability, and looked really good at Monaco. Just needs a bit of refining. I think he's likely the fall back option if Guehi and Tapsoba fall through.
-
Interestingly, Leverkusen have had a £25 million deal for Van Den Berg from Liverpool accepted as of yesterday. Centre back that did well on loan at Mainz last season. The timing could be significant if they are expecting to lose one of their centre backs.
-
Tapsoba would be an impressive coup. Would be very nice to add a title winner too, especially one that managed it at an unfancied club for the first time, against the odds. Could do with that experience! As a defender, really like how he defends. Very very smooth. Always makes it look easy.

Mitchell signed Disasi at Monaco and will have a lot of info on him from his time there. Apparently Disasi also spoke with Mitchell ahead of joining Pochettino at Chelsea, due to the Mitchell and Pochettino relationship.
-
The crazy thing is he didn't play on the weekend, and they still left him out of these set of games. And instead added in Fofana who you'd think they'd be looking to protect from playing too much and picking up injuries again.
-
Wouldn't be surprised if they've signed him on a free and then asked us the day after how much we'd be looking to pay for him. Scammers.
-
He's a backup at a club above us and so tthat means we will never catch-up, apparently. I'm not even sure on him myself, and yet this kind of thinking pains me. Right up there with how we will never progress signing players from clubs like Bournemouth, when we picked up Kelly.
-
Me personally, once he did that initial interview about 'superstar money', with that dumb hair on his head, I would have been out. But it seems we really like Guehi and so are putting up with that irritating man running his mouth on TV every 5 mins.
-
Yeah, good thing we never signed that backup Cole Palmer.
-
Yeah, it's unfortunate really. Like you say he's done well to fight his way back up to the top league and become one of the better strikers in the league. A huge Saudi offer is going to turn his head because he hasn't had the luxury of making the kind of money others have, and he's now 28.
-
There's been lots of interest in him. It's more likely the money he's after that's causing talks to break down. This Saudi interest has likely been in the background, and so it's affecting his thinking, and clubs over here would have had to offer him something not miles off the Saudi offer, to have him turn down that opportunity.
-
Well it's been brought up after the post of him going to Saudi.
