Teams aren't convinced enough to give Toney the money he's after to stay in the Prem. He's mostly played in the lower leagues and having joined Brentford from Peterborough, is apparently on around £20,000 a week. He is now 28 and is trying to maximise his earnings because he's probably got one more significant contract left. I understand his thinking. Why that makes him a cunt I will never know.

Oh man ... this is hilarious

Spurs man. Played so well first half and come away with a point. Probably would have even lost if that injury doesn't happen, and take the energy out of the stadium, as Leicester were all over them.
-
So over the top

Fatawu has struggled a fair bit, but that was a nice ball to Vardy.

Been getting a lot of rave reviews from Spurs fans. Looking forward too seeing what he looks like. Also quite intrigued to see what they do with Kulusevski, after the talk of us being interested.

I hate it so much when everyone's played and we have a dodgy game

Any La Liga watchers? How did Barca's Eric Garcia, formerly of Man City, get on at Girona last year?
-
Be interesting to see how Silva uses him. If he just lets him crash the box playing off the striker, he'll do well there.
-
Don't be ridiculous. They'll have their value for Mbeumo, and it won't have anything to do with Guehi.
-
They seem desperate for money, so may not be possible. I like the idea of Torres. I actually think he's been more ordinary at Man City and Barca due to the style of play. At Valencia he looked more dynamic playing in more space and with a bit more urgency.
-
Yes, I've always thought £50 million was a fair fee for Mbeumo.
-
When the £50 million price was mentioned earlier in the summer, it turned some people off. I thought the price was understandable due to his production in a solid but not spectacular Brentford team. I think the one main thing that works against him at the minute is the AFCON issue.
-
Yeah, it's clear people at the club are trying to get in position to push the best teams at the top of the table as quickly as possible. They aren't going for the Brighton approach.
-
Been pretty apparent that both Lewis and Targett are available, but no one wants them. Lascelles getting injured till the new year, likely means he runs out his contract, as no one will buy him. Krafth is worth keeping around as emergency cover for both centre back and right back. Trippier is older now, and Tino does pick up some knocks.
-
Kelly is going to be at left back IMO. Botman and Burn left centre back. The new centre back and Schar right centre back.
-
The Premier League is getting so competitive man. Love it. This guy going to Forest and Evanilson potentially joining Bournemouth is incredible.
-
The weakness is not having our other starter Botman. And then going into next season I do think the plan is to have the new centre back then take over from Schar.
-
I think the transfer strategy for this summer was already pretty much set prior to Mitchell coming in. It's also increasingly clear, rightly or wrongly, that the aim for now is to fill in the remaining weaker positions in the first team with players that can come in straight away and perform in the league with no adjustment period. This may well mean we are better positioned to attack the league and other competitions this season with less potential growing pains, at the cost of not getting in players with a potential higher ceiling further down the line. Going forward I fully expect Mitchell's influence in the market to be more apparent.

Let's just let the manager and club decide. Maybe they'll eventually go for Inacio, Silva or someone else.

I've always thought Gomez was quite rash, and a bit error prone, particularly at centre back. Am I imagining that? Or maybe it was when he was younger? Not sure about getting him instead at all.
