Honestly, between Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea at the minute, these guys are just spending money but they don't really have a clue what they're doing football wise. The players aren't good enough to create chances in this slow side to side horse shoe style of football. You need really special players to unlock defences playing that style. Really hope Newcastle can get back on track this summer recruitment wise and get in some depth and a bit more quality, because I am not convinced by the direction these sides are going in if they keep the managers they have in place, and we can start to make up some ground on them.

Gabriel has resorted to going upfront to try and score This team's football is putrid. It stinks

Arsenal still passing it around at the back man

Arsenal are so bad man

That Jimenez for Bournemouth is so fucking stupid.

Spent £30 million on Leoni last summer and then £60 million on Jaquet in January. Looks like Konate is staying too.
-
Much maligned Disasi has been a great pick up for West Ham. Done well for them.

Man City supposedly looking at bringing back Pierce Charles a young keeper at Sheffield Wednesday that came through their academy, if Trafford moves on. Newcastle have been loosely linked too on Team Talk (Graeme Bailey though). That's two young championship keepers linked today, both rank highly on crosses, sweeping outside of the box, and passing the ball. The dealing with crosses is a big one for me. A lot of the other links to keepers outside of the league have been keepers that weren't as good on that.
-
Linked with Brighton goalie on loan at Coventry Carl Rushworth. Going into the last year of his contract this summer too.
-
Likely to see more of him against a decent level of European competition.
-
I'd hope Wilson is privy to some info regarding a lower fee should they get relegated, and so they are positioning themselves should that be the case. We've been linked with a number of highly rated younger right backs that will likely need a bit of time to acclimatise, much like Tino did initially playing behind Trippier, and so if we get a Williams he may well start initially at least.
-
Yes, Tino is better, but I don't think he's totally clear of him either and certainly not in the final third (which is a part of the assessment), where Tino is worse IMO is the point I was making. Looks like Tino is leaving and finding a similar level of player without paying the type of money Man City are going to have to give us for him, likely means looking at someone outside the league. We've been linked with loads of these types. I'm pretty certain we'll sign one of those alongside someone like Williams who is already comfortable and dependable in the league, as Trippier is leaving too. I think that's the right sort of approach.
-
Don't think he's well clear of him like you had originally said. Certainly not in the final third. If Tino and Trippier are both leaving bringing in a solid prem performer and then a younger prospect with a higher upside makes sense to me, and is likely what they are looking at doing.
-
Well I can guarantee you that people involved in player recruitment are watching the players as well as using that sort of data extensively.
-
Especially in the final third. Grown frustrated with Tino not improving in that area.
-
Been their best player this season (outside of Anderson). The reaction reminds me of the one to James Garner, and then a few months later he was in the England squad. Don't know why these sorts of players get overlooked so often.
-
Yeah, Liverpool aren't in position to sit back at home. They'll have to be open from the outset going for it and they could get murdered in transition.

Mendes is a fucking idiot! So arrogant and wasteful man.
