Watkins and Duran have pretty much been neck and neck this season. Are they not just clearing the way for the younger guy in Duran? And getting a big fee for Watkins while they still can?

Villa are doing just fine. Both domestically and in the Champions League. They've also positioned themselves to continue to be able to operate in the transfer market to try and improve their team. And so I have no idea what you're on about.

Very intrigued to see how Malen and Felix get on at Villa. They're taking chances on talents that haven't quite settled elsewhere and are getting them at decent value. I have a bad feeling these two especially are going to pay off for them. Funnily enough, even if they don't, they are the type of players Saudi will happily pay sizeable fees for. Either way it will be a win.

Yeah, as Newcastle fans it's fine to want to sign a Mbeumo or Huijsen if they can be had, and their clubs can be tempted to sell. However, I don't think anyone on here feels entitled to them or thinks just because Newcastle may be a bigger club they'd be stupid not to join. Also we don't have fans from other clubs that have nothing to do with it chiming in every second about how they have to leave Bournemouth or Brentford to join Newcastle. It's so bloody weird.

One thing I really hate about football is the attitude towards any sort of parity. As soon as a player does well somewhere everybody outside of their club starts talking about them going to a 'big club' all the time.
