Really nice pick up for Dortmund.

Belgium are not playing badly per se, but I don't trust them to get a result here.

Chelsea could have had a back 4 of Hall, Guehi, Tomori, James (Livramento) for bugger all. Makes you sick.
Nathan Ake!

Man, no one watching the games?
Probably the most interesting group with all these teams on 3 points!

Enquired about Tomori mentioned in this piece:
There was talk Tomori wouldn't be up for it, but hopefully that was exaggerated.

Not saying we would or should sell Isak, but if it were to happen for say 180 million. Who could we even sign at a similar age or younger than Isak who could also score 20 in the premier league?
And also as other mentioned this player would have to be willing to play a year with no European football.
Strikers like Gyokeres and Evanilson would come into play I'd imagine.
Impossible to say if they'd come in and score 20 straight away.
If we want a guaranteed performer in the Prem, would probably bring back Toney.
Hopefully we just keep Isak though.

Says you who’s whining coz minteh turned down Lyon
im delighted he turned them down
I never had an issue with him turning them down
I said we'd be screwed if so and the guys that want him to stay would be happy.
You got to read posts carefully man.

Look back a few pages on this thread. You know what I’m off to do something else, I’m giving up trying to be rational on here.
Believe the sky is falling if it makes you feel better. Personally, I think those within the club have a better handle on our situation than a load of journo's who have gotten very little right after the initial months post takeover.
Relax man. It's all worth discussing.
All part of the fun and back and forth.

Waiting until the 11th hour to meet your PSR obligations is on the club... That's not to say PSR is a fair construct. But we had the opportunity to turn a profit in January and get major wages off the books, with Trips happy to move to Bayern, and we turned it down.
Is it fair to be asking a teen eager to carve out a career to go play in a farmer's league where he'll be lost in a sea of mediocrity? I don't think so personally.
Yeah, only some of the best young players have come through at Lyon.
But you know, never mind that. It's a farmers league after all.

No I say it coz I’ve saw 3 examples of it today alone. It comes across that you perceive your opinion to be superior to everyone else. It’s all a bit pompous
Hey pal, stop whining!

bruno and Isak aren’t going anywhere and especially not because Minteh turned down Lyon.
I hope not.
Next few days are going to be interesting to say the least.

you love a dig at people that hold a different view to you
counted a few already to do. It’s almost like you consider it an afont to you that people don’t agree with you. Bizzare behaviour
It's a football forum with cheeky digs back and forth all the time.
You only say this when you see a dig that goes against something you said.
Stop it.

Is that how we're categorizing Liverpool these days?
The article literally says he wants to go to Everton. Why are you talking about Liverpool?

Yeah I’m saying let’s sell Bruno and Isak ffs. Im also not saying the club are sitting doing nothing (although we really haven’t maximised sponsorship imo, not even close). But if we do fail to meet the PSR deadline it’s due to the a failure of the club.
Where did I say you said we should sell Bruno or Isak?
I'm stating the reality of what we're facing.
No doubt these rumblings emboldened Chelsea's cheeky enquiry for Isak.

Refusing to play at Lyon to play for Everton is probably the single dumbest thing he could ever consider.
The kid has no idea what he's letting himself in for, which is very unfortunate for him.

So you think if we fail meet the requirements for the PSR deadline it’s the fault of Minteh and not the club who have had months to prepare for it ? 😂
Where did I blame Minteh?
The supposition the club have been sat around doing nothing is silly.
What they have been doing, and quite rightly so, is trying to ensure we kept our best players.
How on Earth they're supposed to anticipate Minteh turning down Lyon to go to Dyche's Everton, I will never know.
But no problem. If push comes to shove Isak or Bruno will go to a Prem rival. Just perfect.

If we are screwed because a young player is refusing to leave then that’s on the club tbh.
Yeah?! Okay.

Well I'm sure this will make all the Minteh fans happy. If true we could be screwed.

Scot Wilson (I know, I know) claims we'd demand £200 million plus.
Not at all surprised.
That's the right response for any discussion to sell to any rival in the league.

What’s the issue with that transfer? Alleging that they’re not paying market rate because both are owned by INEOS?
I asked the same earlier. I don't get it.

Basically this tell them to fuck off.
You see it with the fans of other clubs too.
They talk about signing Newcastle players like we are Sheffield United or something.
God I can't wait for this upcoming season. I've fully embraced us not making Europe. I want us to go crazy in the league and beat teams to a pulp.
Hoping we get things right in the window, and with the extra rest this season, we absolutely annihilate sides with a very aggressive style again.

Based on what Chelsea payed for Enzo and Caicedo, I would tell them 170 million is a hard floor for us
See, the problem is they are crass enough to bid that.
They paid what £120 million for Enzo?
I have no doubt they are crazy enough to put down close to £200 million for a young striker already producing in the league.

I didn't mean to quote your original post in my reply .
Ah, okay. Yeah, goes without saying we shouldn't accept any bids from those clowns.

3 minutes ago, Geogaddi said:
We shouldn't be accepting any bid, they could offer 200 million and it should still be turned down .
I was explaining why they wouldn't need to get any permission from the player for a simple enquiry.
Why are you talking about accepting bids?!
