yes its shitty, but if it wins us the game, I think its worth it. End if the day its a prisoners dilemma. You either go with it or you get beat by it. Like I said that pen hatem got at OT is one of my favs ever
Well, I would never go as far as saying it's worth it ever, because it's not what the sport is about or what players should be doing out there.
However, I would never begrudge a team that wins because of something like that because it does and will continue to happen and ultimately the ref, even with VAR blew the call. So it's really on him.

Really glad for this England team and Southgate. Great bunch. Well done!

Agreed, he's been awesome
Not sure any athlete on the planet is in better shape than Sterling. The man cannot ever get tired.

That's fair but I accept it both ways, the dark arts. They will employ every trick in the book, Look, its the same as politics if its not a level playing field the moral high ground gets you fucking nowhere lol. Remember that pen Hatem won at OT, i loved it.
I don't even think it's a moral high ground thing. It's just annoying because when players get away with it in encourages it a lot more and no one likes or enjoys a game that devolves into players on both teams constantly throwing themselves to the floor.

Why not take advantage of all the space being given and get a 3rd. Being a tad too safe here IMO.

This is the game now, you either do it or get left in the dust lol. If Wilson wins us that at Old Trafford we all love it.
The problem with this mindset is that no one ever remembers this or feels this way when the shoe is on the other foot
If you seal the deal tonight I think you might have to reckon with this very soon too as you will be facing the Italians and they will be well up for all the madness

Hjulmand cost the Danes the game with is horrid subs IMO. Taking off their best offensive players with the game at 1-1 and them still in it, changing the entire formating and suddenly playing with two DM's. Absolute shit management.
Don't understand why he always takes Dolberg off every game. Should have kept him on with Poulsen at some point.

Soft pen, bad pen, England probably deserve the lead and the Danes’ free kick for the goal was soft as Philly cream cheese on a summer’s day (last year summer tho)
Fair point that free kick decision was not the best either.

Cannot even imagine what would have happened to the forum if that penalty decision had been given against England instead

It wasn’t a pen and we’ve dived quite a lot tonight. That’s what successful teams do though. There are no honourable clean championship winning teams out there.
Oh boy ... look, it seems the man dived but somehow got away with it, let's not go with the all Champions cheat narrative to justify it please

Actually looking at the replay is he looking at the clip on Sterling's knee maybe? Who knows ...

Oh well.
It's been such a great battle of a game. Unfortunate it came to that decision, but I get it, as an England fan what can you do

Worst penalty decision I've seen in ages and I want Denmark to lose
I mean I still cannot believe that. A complete farce

Oh my word ... that is mad
-
Wow, given. That is shocking
-
Oh dear Sterling ... oh dear.
-
Sterling man ... so wild with that strike after doing all the difficult stuff.
-
Those are excellent subs for England.
-
Wow ... great set piece that. What a Saturday night for you lot man!

Levy sat at home adding zeroes onto Kane's price.

Luke Shaw has made such a turnaround considering where it looked like his career was going a few years ago
Mourinho was tanking that man's career. I'm expecting Dele to be back up to scratch by this time next year now too

Luke Shaw once again.

Man, this is amazing. Over the moon for Harry Kane.
-
Maguire is invaluable for those headers man. A threat every time those balls come in.
Very professional performance from England so far yet again. Really impressed.
