Been saying it for ages, but some of the favourites play in there so they get away with murder. Think our best bet is moving Bruno back into the centre to take more responsibility in the build up, even though defensively we'll be more vulnerable. As things stand they do nothing going forward and we're inviting pressure and suffering defensively anyway.

The midfield continues to struggle to get a hold of a game while letting runners in behind them. Every game it's like this. Just a slog to get anything going. Just not a good team.

Giving the ball away AGAIN midfield runners in behind AGAIN and should have conceded.

I think things are so bad with the ball that we ought to put him there anyway.

Tonali does not do a good job of making himself available for a pass when he plays at the base of midfield. It's why the full backs always have to do interchange with the wingers to get forward. The midfield does not do anywhere near enough during the build up phase. It makes playing out from the back disjointed and awkward, and we rarely ever have any decent passages of play going forward. Until the issue is solved the team will remain inconsistent and unconvincing.

Murphy has given the ball away every single time today. If that was Elanga some of you would have climaxed by now.

Every problem with this team is down to the midfield. Both defensively and going forward. But come the end of the match people will be screeching about Gordon and Elanga yet again, as usual.

The delusion regarding how "shit" this guy is, really is astounding. Unfortunately for him he's the sort to go looking for the nonsense being spewed about him, and then internalising it, and letting it affect his performances. He has to get out of this club, due to the negativity towards him.
