This isn't really true though. His hold up play has always been good. He's also a decent outlet down the channels.

I don't think any player has been more denigrated than DCL every time there was even a passing link to the guy As is typical of this forum, he was called shit and washed in every which way, when he was just stuck in a rotten situation at Everton. And so it's just amusing seeing him banging them in at newly promoted Leeds of all places, after the standard over the top carry on about him on here. So you can be annoyed all you want, but that's your issue to deal with. No idea what you're getting wound up about. It's looking a great deal for Leeds on a free transfer, which is why he could get away with asking for £100,000 a week, so fair play to Leeds. Good for them.

Yeah, the experience he's picking up this season is going to be invaluable. The loan shouts were awful. He has the talent to contribute to this squad and had already shown that previously. I'm not sure there's a more composed player in the whole team.

I know someone that has been trying to get his son into going to the games, and the kid keeps falling asleep The football is dreadful to watch. I swear they're worse against low blocks than Newcastle too, despite all their more technical players. They just score a bunch of set pieces.

This all came about after people complained endlessly about how long the checks were taking. And so now they just go with the decision on the field if they can get away with it, in the name of not slowing the game down.

And another ...

Bump. 5 games in a row now at Leeds for washed Calvert Lewin.

This guy needs to get a good run of games together, get some interest from elsewhere and run for his life. My God

Regarding his hold up, I preferred how he'd pop it about first time, when he first joined. I actually don't like that he seems to be trying to hold it up more and hold onto the ball longer. Wonder if that's an instruction he's been given. His first time layoffs are elite.

Romero is a headcase and a disaster.

It's all connected. People whip themselves up into a frenzy online all week and then vomit it out at the ground.

If it was Gordon or Elanga I said this about there wouldn't be a peep. The guy should have jumped with the wall and he didn't, and it's proved to be costly. When I'm watching the game I don't only call out players that I don't like, like so many of you tend to do unfairly. It's okay. Bruno will be fine and is still a fantastic player. He should have done better there though.
-
So disappointing man. Especially when you see how high Schar I think it was, jumps beside him. Any kind of jump from Bruno likely blocks that. No idea what he was thinking. Such small margins.
-
Why are you talking about Elanga at left back? Besides that I've got nothing in a twist, just really disgusted by all this carrying on.
-
What the hell are you talking about?

I was shocked to even read on here from someone that goes to games that Miley was getting stick in the stadium earlier this season. What on Earth that young man has ever done on the pitch to be getting stick is beyond me. I could not believe it.
-
If not being in such a haste to write off players is edgy then I guess that's what I am then. You guys keep whipping yourselves up into a frenzy over how "shit" he is and screaming at him in the stadium. Well done.
-
It's not arrogance. He explained it from the point of view of the player on the pitch, that was the point. I have no doubt you've played yourself at whatever level, so you should understand it's not as straightforward as it looks from someone watching as a spectator. What is really amusing about this whole thing is that if that was Murphy or Barnes there'd be all kinds of justifications. You guys are just going overboard to prove how right you were about Elanga. We get it. You didn't like the signing. But he's at the club now, and so overly criticizing everything he does bad and minimising the good things he does is just really pointless. You can't even be fair in any sort of critique of him and it's just pathetic.
-
Read @stozo's post again. Think he explains it perfectly from the perspective of the player on the pitch, for anyone that's played football. He doesn't have the same point of view as everyone sat at home watching it on the telly for goodness sake

Apparently it's a an obvious simple pass to a completely free Barnes don't you know.
