That chance Wissa slides him in with a perfect pass placed on his stronger right foot to slot away in the box, and he tries to take an extra touch, is unacceptable. Nah, not on at all. Judge them all by the same measure. I could also argue Elanga hasn't found his feet and Barnes is an established player in the squad. Bruno also won the ball high up and played it to him free in the box and he had a really bad touch that allowed Caicedo to clear. Great bounce back game today, but really should have won it for us in the first half.

Elanga also did well to play in Bruno to whip in the cross Barnes should have scored on. He also put in a very good cross down the right after beating the full back that no one was there to make anything of. Talking about Elanga wasting opportunities ahead of the chances that were thrown away in the first half and the opportunities Barnes fluffed is really not on for me.

Barnes had two far more glaring goal scoring chances that he made a mess of that should have won us this game. Elanga had just been groaned at for trying to find a pass and having the ball taken off him. He was well within his rights to take that chance on and shoot after that run.

Barnes was slid in with a perfectly weighted ball from Wissa and just had to slot home first time, and started trying to take extra touches in the box, and got the ball taken off him.

Why do we not have one midfielder that holds their position a bit more? The way Bruno and Tonali just charge forward and leave so much space in behind in transitions is so crazy man.

Just seen another angle of that James free kick, goes over Bruno who is the only person in the wall that didn't bother to jump. Was wondering how he got that over the wall so easily.

Team just isn't strong enough to see out games from a strong position. Once again the midfield just seems to fall away and can't get a grip and hold of games. Really thought we could have done with Joelinton coming on earlier in that second half to try and add some fight in there, but maybe he isn't right physically.
