  1. Yeah, but simplifying your analysis to the goals he let in against us is really really poor. He filled in well last season, and over an extended period this season he has been brilliant. Even reading through his thread on RAWK, they were questioning Alisson coming straight back in, and also if he should be number 1 ahead of Mamardashvilii if they sell Alisson. https://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=346557.2640
  2. I can tell you haven't really watched him this season. Never mind all his other performances this season while Alisson has been out. And of course let's not forget that Alisson, the best goalie out there, has of course never in his whole career made any errors. You always reduce players to specific moments. Prisoner of the moment.
  3. Approaching the last year of his contract, which is up in 2026. He has already asked to leave after they bought Mamardashvili. January deal will depend on if Liverpool want to cash in earlier for a bit more money. I'd bid £15 million, as from the summer I don't think they get more than £10 million.
  4. Allison is back. Get Kelleher in.
  5. Hmmm ... not so sure about any momentum myself. As poor as Man City were, Man Utd matched them, up until the mistakes at the end. Any team that plays with more urgency and aggression will continue to test Man Utd. They have Bournemouth next as an example.
  6. Simple cutback to Gundogan or Nunes just then and Foden just floats it randomly across. Awful.
  7. Can tell Nketiah was faffing about at Arsenal for too long. Doing fancy flicks and finishes in training and never playing. What kind of daft finish attempt was that? Golden chance to get off the mark, just pass it into the net dummy.
  8. Good if it annoyed him and fired him up. He then responded by doing better, which was the right way to react, and he could then enjoy his celebration letting everyone know about it.
  9. They should be giving Rafa a call.

    Lewis Hall

Yeah, I agree. Me, I love good defending and good defenders, and so I really like Tino. Got great height, speed, strength and athleticism at full back. He has all the attributes and stamina to be a threat going forward too, and just needs to work on his final ball. There was a point with Trippier where he was giving away so many chances at the far post defensively, and those have all been shut down since Tino came in. He's a beast defensively. I can't really remember the last left winger that really caused us major problems since he came in.
  11. Arsenal fans are going through it this season man. Man City finally fall off and they've chosen this year to drop off too, with Liverpool and Chelsea looking to take advantage instead. No surprise they are losing their minds completely.

To be fair, as good as Hall is going forward, I think Tino isn't far off, but from a defensive stand point. And this is often easier to overlook.
  13. Considering his output last season and how much of a threat he looks when they bring him on, it's really weird he doesn't start games for them this year.
  14. That's brilliant from Anderson.
  15. Yeah on that angle they drew the lines they needed to go back a frame or two. I noticed that as well!
  16. Absolutely. He's a true orchestrator and conductor. Love that he urges and directs the rest of the team too. Bruno tends to want to take more risks on the ball and with the ball, and has always said he prefers to play further forward, and so it's good to have finally arrived here with both.
  17. On the Isak one on one where he should have scored, the through ball from Joelinton is brilliant, but it all comes from the early ball from Tonali to Joelinton high up the pitch in space to thread the pass. Perfect example of how his quicker play will put us in position to open up teams more often.
  18. Yeah, if that ever happens, we can actually target more of a goal scoring/creative third midfielder. Tonali at the 6 position is certainly the way to go.

There will always be moments defensively, and the Liverpool game recently was rough, but he has shown improvement in general this season defensively, and I was very sceptical. The team being poor this season has allowed some room to play through it without as much pressure, as there have been lots of other issues, which has benefitted him. Going forward he is very very good.
