Until he gets a run of consistent starts especially now Tino is back, we're just not going to see it come together anytime soon. Thought it would have been perfect to start him again at home last night, coming off a good performance. I think he would have given Udogie more problems. Udogie was too quick and strong for Murphy who couldn't get anything going against him. Murphy would have been fine to come back in against Burnley, which is a game that should suit him better.

The critics I'm fine with. I've called it out when he was trying way too hard and looking a mess out there. The bench time seems to have done him some good and calmed him down from what we saw yesterday at least. It's the obsessive "haters" that crawled out of their crevices claiming they were right about him all along when they claimed he was shit after we signed him, that I really found pathetic What is he 24 years old? But because he's had an up and down time off things the last year, they were ready to sell him because apparently he didn't want to be here, or because he wears a head band now, or because of his haircut and a plethora of other nonsense. If I'm not misken he's one of only 3 players that has ever had double figures in goals and assists in a season in the league, in the club's recent history? He did this when he was 22/23 years old. But yeah ... let's throw him away instead of helping him figure things out and get some consistency and confidence so we see more of that. Just ridiculous.

He's so right about the passing. Especially once we took the lead. Gave them the confidence to get back into it with some really fucking stupid passes that gave away possession. So sick of that trait this team has.

Ultimately led to the passage of play they scored from where he got done by Romero. His passing didn't improve afterwards and it wasn't helping at all late on. I don't know why he randomly tries to fire in passes into midfield at times, when it's just not on. Just play the simple pass man, that is just not your game! Should have just passed it around simply at the back after the first goal as Spurs weren't really even pressing. Instead these crazy passes that gift them the chance to exert themselves and gain confidence. Senseless stuff.

Deserved to be the match winner tonight. Did very well on the first goal and smashed home the penalty. Shouldn't be surprised it's deathly quiet on here about him now

They can't have a go at Gordon tonight so folks are particularly wound up and desperate.

The way he never looked at the ball and the fact the ball ended up coming to that spot when they both end up falling to the ground does Bentancur in. He's unlucky but it just worked out perfectly for us.
