  16. Just read that Evans has a £3m relegation release clause - didn't they turn down £20m plus for him in January?!
  17. The first half display by Man City was superb - Sane is going to be (and already is!) a top, top, top player!
  18. Shite midweek but I've had a fantastic last few weekends! I had £20 on Gayle 6/1 and £50 on us - went to look at the cash out at half time and I had been paid it as B365 pay out if your team goes 2-0 up so lucky there! I had a £20 four team acca up so then backed Deeney in the late game 1st at 7/1! Sunday I had the obvious treble which was 11/2 and I had £10 doubles and treble on Kane, Sergio and Lukaku - that returned £180 but if Lukaku had of scored 1st rather than 2nd it would have been £1350 - the bastard! More of the same please this weekend albeit I know that I'll have £20 on us at those huge odds which will be flat ha ha!
  19. Aye, was that the firework game?!
  20. The story behind Rafa's LFC love affair - and what he craves at NUFC http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/story-behind-rafa-benitezs-love-13694571#ICID=ios_ChronicleNewsApp_AppShare_Click_Other What a man! I love this bit; “The job I said to him that would be the most intelligent was Southampton. “But even then he was absolutely fixated on Newcastle. He’d obviously identified it, and this at a time when Newcastle were chaotic and in the bottom three, while Southampton were sixth. “But he kept saying: ‘Newcastle is a bigger club. Newcastle is a bigger club.’ This was way before he was linked to them. “He was fixated on it and, this is supposition, but there must have been a time when he played at St James’ Park with Liverpool and thought: ‘This is my kind of place.’”
  21. Well said Poch! Pochettino added: 'The first half was embarrassing. Everyone was confused and we need to respect the fans. Emotion is why you pay for the ticket, that is why you come to the game when the conditions are so bad. 'Then you (will) say 'OK, I am going to watch the game through the TV and stay at home because if I cannot shout when we score because we need to wait two minutes, you cannot express yourself'. “I am for the new technology but be careful when you change the game that we know.'

Ha ha they're mental them lot! This one is easily leading the current bitter stakes table! Reiver, Today at 9:11 AM #167 After this weekend Newcastle will, most likely, be back in deep relegation trouble. They have Ashley's signing, Slimani, out again so will have to go to Anfield with the 3 stooges. When you're playing in the PL and Gayle is your top striker you know you're just making up the numbers. Shelvey injured his knees at Bournemouth by continually resting his hands on them. He'll definitely miss the Liverpool game and possibly the next few. I suspect the Mags will have enough to keep them occupied by the end of the season.
