Correct. WTF went on at half time? I do wonder, they played worse. Because they're not f...g fit. It's not that they don't try in second halves, they're just too knackered. Disgraceful indictement.
-
Taylor was also the only one who looks fit too. What is it about our fitness?
-
Still my favourite ref. never any fuss, never needs to be in the limelight. Unlike that t......r Webb.
-
well today, unlike many other games, I thought they ALL tried like f.....k. Unlike all those early leavers. Have to go now as driving with one knee.
-
apologies if covered elsewhere but I despise the THOUSANDS of fans who left early today. What must the players have thought? How can we tell our players they need to care more when they witness that from the 'Best Fans in the World'
-
driving so spelling might not be great but deputy editor from NOTW has just been on 5 live saying they have an exclusive from Owen, saying that if we stay up and Shearer stays, then he will definitely stay.......
-
Me too. Personally I thought it was the usual rubbish bar a couple of alright spells. Me too. very flat. Probably because we're scared s....l...ss of the plight we're in.

Anyone see that from Poland's keeper?
-
Agree with all of that. Also thought Bassong, barring a couple of mistakes (not marking Vidic on that corner and messing up in front of Ronaldo) looked good, as usual. Martins was disappointing imo, we need a lot more from him, and need him to be sharper. Love was actually pretty good as well. Whilst Martins wasn't that great, his mere presence on the pitch proved what a difference to the side he makes. Them counter-attacks in the first half wouldn't have been achieved without him in the side - regardless of whether or not he even touched the ball. Defenses have to drop back when he's playing. God, I thought Martins was outstanding.
-
Spot on, except I would give Bassong 8. I though he was superb.
-
Harper would have saved the goal without the deflection. Has that been said? Oba is the difference. And Jonas has been just fantastic. Apart from his final ball of course.....
-
Spot on. Maybe another .5 for Shola but othwerwise agree exactly.
-
It's bloody nonsense to say that Shola didn't do his bit today. Were you there too?
-
If the clause will be activated after 10 matches...what the f*** is this? Give him a decent chance if you're gonna play him... He could have come on for Ameobi earlier like.. There never was a clause it was rubbish paper talk I'm not saying there was... Ameobi being shocking the entire match, why wait till injury time to give Xisco a chance? Sorry that's just not true. I don't think Shola is good enough but he did well today. As did Duff......

Our offside trap is very scary.
-
He was actually responsible for the best cross of the whole game.
-
When you see the penalty, look at Malbranque's feet, he actually catches Taylor with one foot, which is actually when he goes down.
-
N'Sonia.....N'Zogba.....err Charlie That was absolutely f.....g hilarious. indeed it was!! hah.......... god i hate jfk I don't actually, I think he has been given a pretty impossible hand to play - I think we'd be pretty comfortably in the top half with a fully-fit squad. Unfortunately we aren't and we don't.

It was 100% Enrique's fault.

God, Ryan Nelson on 5 Live discussing the topic of referees - from what he said he clearly knew his team was lucky to get that penalty decision and said outright that the Butt was wrong to be sent off. Credit to Nelson for sounding a thoroughly decent bloke but just makes the defeat even more galling. I know we fell apart at the end but I truly belive that we had that match in the bag until a terrible decision by Styles..

Unless he's Amdy Faye #2 I still can't believe that Amdy Faye is a professional footballer!
-
f***ing hell I hope that's sarcasm - we've had a dozen players better than him in the last 15 years - though this doesn't mean I don't think he's decent - I just want more. No sarcasm at all!
-
God, I think he is fantastic. I thought he was (once again) fantastic on Saturday and when I'm nearly gone I will still think myself privileged to have seen him play. Yes, I would criticise him for hesitating before shooting in the ingury-time chance but the way he got himself into that situation was just sublime. Even Andy Gray, during the Last Word on Sunday, described him as a find..

Alan Wiley to ref. He's my favourite Premiership ref - sensible and doesn't want to be the centre of atttention all the time.
