Ps the first message was from 10am this morning but didn't upload for some reason till this afternoon. There's no sign of any of them anywhere but they definitely met here this morning. Tony Jiminez was at the match last night.

I'm at the Marriott Forest of Arden hotel and saw Denis Wise about about hour ago. He wouldn't speak to me though which is hardly surprising. The team stayed here last night. Off to listen outside all the meeting rooms.....
-
His tactical kicking was excellent against Bolton, and against Coventry last night.
-
Made one fantastic save in extra time.
-
Ps sorry for bad spelling. Can't edit posts on blackberry for some reason. Pps Enrique looked superb first half.
-
Awesome atmosphere. Hope you can here it on sky. Ashley about 6 seats along, in his king Kev shirt

That Observer report is really positive. Makes a nice change.
-
God, you've all just made my Bank Holiday. Awesome stuff!

Sorry, this isn't very interesting but I couldn't find the thread about seeing Toon players. I was playing golf at Forest of Arden today, near Coventry and who should be mooching around the Golf Shop? The one and only Stephen Carr!! Looking pretty toned I have to say. Has he got a new Club yet? Didn't really want to ask him.......
-
You have got to be kidding? I would find it hard to agree with that as well. He's an automatic pick for all our Managers sho he must be more effective than he looks. Hit some good long balls today but as usual seemed to give it away regularly.

Was at the match, so here goes: Given - 8. Some good, quick kicking too. Beye - 7 Coloccini - 7 Taylor - 6 N'Zogbia - 7 Milner - 6 Butt - 6 Guthrie - 5 Gutierrez - 9 I am sure that defenders will figure him out in time, but he was just awesome. Bolton had three players on him at times and he still managed to dribble through. Martins - 6 Duff - 6 although his mistakes get twice the abuse of anyone else's Geremi - 8 - believe it or not Owen - 7

My friend in Spain who used to play for Santander is best mates with Ivan Helguera. He wants to know how he played today?
-
f***ing right.... come one Westwood Toggling between the two!!
-
Did he say anything about today's takeover s****? No, didn't want to ask that either and also scared sh...ss that this board is spied on so shouldn't really rant on!
-
Don't know sorry. The deal is now completed were his exact words so didn't want to pry.....!
-
The deal IS now completed. If anyone say my thread from a few weeks ago you'll know who my source is and he is the person with responsibility for doing the deals. "We also hope there'll be a couple more" quote unquote.
-
What does that mean? Think he was being sarcastic!

From my Spanish mate (ex-Santander player): To me is good but not superb………….But in Spain is very, very well considered…………Plays for Coruña and had a good last season……..Not strong enough in my opinion for your league…….but may be strong enough for Newcastle……..I read today that the offer that Newcastle made him is imposible to turn down……….Even the player could not believe the ammount.
-
Opinion from Spain: "He is not good anymore…….had a couple of OK seasons long ago playing for Valencia………….but he is not the same player……….On top of that he is not strong enough to play on your league………My call??????.............If you sign him, he will start the first 10 games because your manager wants him, but will not start anymore after that……….."

To be fair, if thats what he said to Golfmag, he is hardly telling us anything we probably didnt know already. If he didnt give names out then I am sure he is probably telling most people the same thing. He has hardly given much away I quoted what he said and he didn't say anything more re transfers, except that players who are anything other than young and full of potential are wanting ridiculous wages. I respect him for the fact that he didn't give me any names.

I had lunch with Tony Jiminez last weekend, about a property deal, not football. Nice bloke - he said that they hoped to get a "couple more" new players in before the start of the season. He also said that their strategy is very much around getting in young players, whose value will appreciate.
-
Opinion of my Spanish friend, ex La Liga player: Good signage………….Runs like hell……..
-
We're still playing a zillion times more "carpet" football than under Allardyce.
-
To see us play proper football again, high up the pitch - that's the best part right now IMO
-
Awesome interview. He has no ego at all, unlike his predecessors. Gave everyone else the credit. To see us play carpet football again is just fantastic.
