Incredibly frustrating half of football. Started well, piss poor defending for their goal followed by panic stations for a while before descending into chaos with no control whatsoever alongside poor final balls and finishing. The positive thing I guess is that the second half can easily be quite a bit better if we get our shit together.

Willock looks like he’s having one of them sleepy displays so far. Other than the goal and minutes straight after we’ve looked OK and should be able to go on and win this comfortably.

I don’t think we’ve been too bad tbh. But we’re not exactly forcing the issue just yet either. The two Anthony’s have had mares (AG10 and Taylor) and Yates should have been off. Oh , and Willock def should have had a pen. Probably should bring Gordon off for Barnes let the man save us again.

Gordon looks miles off it tbh. Tino getting better as the game progresses. Need to get Isak going ASAP. And how the fuck isn’t Yates on a yellow?

A lot of good play so far from us. If we manage to find a goal before HT we’ll run away with this in the second half.

Always nice to win against Chelsea. Our first half was good with great tenacity and high pressing. Joe should’ve probably given us the lead after 2 mins already and we didn’t really look back after that. A bit too low and passive in the second half for my liking but given the amount of possession they had they didn’t really create much apart from Felix chance after Burn’s lunge. Once again I have to say though that Pope is in a really weird place after his injury. The sheer amount of “catchable” balls he tries to punch doesn’t really fill me with confidence - and alongside his piss poor kicking makes him a pretty easy target for the opponents.
