  1. i could pick out many faults in your superhero obafemi martins, too. they're both s*** and they're both a disgrace to the newcastle united shirt. Martins is far from my superhero, I just think given the circumstances he's done an ok job for us yeah, i'm convinced. Your love for Martins is embarrassing. this btw, Ronaldo is the biggest Martins fanboy on these boards Martins imo is a good player who hasn't done a bad job for us. He was very poor in his last 8 games of the season and the criticism is a reflection of that. Not many were calling him s**** in March
  2. Nah, really it's quite logical. And 'one outstanding attribute' is wrong too. I'd wager several players who are faster than Owen was in his prime who couldn't match his scoring ability. He has far more to offer than pace. The main issue is that injuries have severely limited him physically to what he once was (which can impied shooting capabilities and upper body strength) and you find that funny. I find you very funny sir, but fair play. I think your loyalty is just a bit misguided
  3. He's an ok player but not what we need for team morale, he's basically an idiot

  5. You need your head read if you think injuries are any excuse for not having a left foot and upper body strength man, it's a ridiculous claim. He isn't the player he once was because he had only one outstanding attribute, and it's gone, along with his bollocks. Injuries aren't to blame for the fact he's a very average footballer
  6. Which is why his physical capacity has been greatly reduced and concequently why he isn't the player he once was. Although he has enough mental and technical abiltiy to alter his game - if he stays injury free from now on. So what we can conclude with here is that Owen's carer has been ravaged by injuries and you're a complete tool for finding it hilarious. We can conclude that injuries are to blame for his lack of footballing ability? right, get a grip
  7. He's suffered from the above all his career though, so you cant attribute them to injuries. but yes, fucking hilarious, especially any that he'll suffer in the future.
  8. Injuries that have left him without a left foot, any power whatsoever in his shooting, body strenth that a 9 year old would be ashamed of, and of course the complete lack of bollocks
  9. He's been relatively injury free for 2 seasons, you cant use that as any sort of excuse
  10. Rather a sad attitude. It's the same circumstances which meant he missed so many games for us you know. http://www.otf2.com/forums/images/smilies/sorry.gif not being good enough?
  11. I find it fucking hilarious that half the england strikers could get injured and he still wouldn't be in the squad
  12. I can think of 7 goals he scored for us off the top of my head wikipedia says 5, guess thats where the NOTW gets their expert info from, wankers
  13. 28 goals in three years is appalling, i honestly believe i could do better myself. 28 goals for Martins isn't bad going considering what a completely thick stupid c*** he actually is. He probably goes through life thinking every day is Saturday. How many times do you need to be told that 28 goals is a stat that Djmattis plucked from thin air?

What's Cary Elwes doing publishing books?
  15. i'd be saying 'right, he's done his duty, no more' Lovenkrands has been here 6 months, scored 3 goals in the time Owen scored 0, yet it's he who actually comes out and apologizes to the fans. Which one is the club captain here?
  16. Nail on head. The same poster will most likely be eating words once more when Andy Murray wins a slam this summer or next

    Michael Owen

That is way, way over the top, verging on the absolute bollocks to be honest. Im not his biggest fan, and dont think he offers a lot to the team overall, but in terms of predatory instincts he is world class. There arent any better than him in the game at timing his runs, and he does finish a lot of his chances. You only have to look at the past few games where he's been incorrectly ruled offside against Arsenal and Man Utd. IMO he has been getting sharper with each game since his return, and will improve (as long as he stays fit). He's never going to be the type of player to take on men and run around all day, he's about waiting and timing, but that doesnt make him lazy. Wasn't though was it? There was only one was Owen was going to go. Didn't he go onto be the third most prolific striker in the PL under Keegan? Under Keegan he got 7 goals from open play in 17 games hardly earth-shattering tbh, but it's decent I guess Yeah cause he had a team of gifted giants behind him. Under Keegan we were actually creating quite a lot as I remember Do you disagree with what I said about 7 in 17 being decent? Or do you think that's something to be proud of from a player who distributes brochures calling himself a world class goalscorer?

Ah Mary, have you got me glasses?
  19. completely agree He's slow, has a poor engine, creates bollocks all and his tackling is sketchy at best get f***ing rid I'd start Guthrie and Barton assuming we bring no one in. Guthrie and Barton would absolutely run the show in that league

  21. And for once you're absolutely spot on, keep it up
  22. At this point, I have to question the legitimacy of anyone claiming to be an nufc fan and defending the guy. He's taken the piss out of your club for years and continues to do it even after 'kicking' his last ball
