Hope he gets well and decides never to come anywhere near nufc again
-
fucking hell, Carson
-
Why isn't he criticizing the real s*** at the club? Or better still just dropping them? Who can he drop them for? you cant honestly tell me that Xisco wouldn't have done a better job than Ameobi on Sunday, no matter how off the pace he is. Over the course the season N'zogbia was generally benched behind Duff and when Barton was fit, Butt kept his place ahead of Guthrie. Baffling tbh
-
Absolute quality that, remember when that aired and nearly pissing masel when he starts to sing the second verse
-
he singled out Enrique for criticism yet again despite the fact he was probably our best player after Bassong. The remarks about him improving in the second half are as self-appreciative as owt else tbh
-
a monkey knows he's not good enough to start, JFK on the other hand
-
just shoot him now
-
just found the article. "I told him at half- time, you’re not giving what I expect from you." unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable. He was our best player in the first half you demented old cunt
-
what's Kinnear said about him now?
-
find it funny that they mention Bolton but leave out Hartlepool and Whitecaps
-
yeah, I was looking at league appearances but overall you're absolutely right
-
47 in 129 according to wiki in his second spell, considerably better than 1 in 3 tbh. Not even Shearer managed 1 in 2, even with penalties his assists and general work for the team more than compensates tbh, 41 goals for Cole in 93-94
-
I saw that, fucking hell
-
For christ's sake Kinnear cant even remember what day the Sunderland game was on. Should be in a retirement home, watching fish swim by and playing hide-and-seek with his teeth, not managing a premiership football club
-
Too inconsistent. he was so good when he was on form it didn't matter. 12 goals in 03-04 is what he should be remembered for. And the fact he played such a massive part in turning us into a top 4 club

Robert was brilliant, my favourite player to watch after Pedro

Meant to post this months ago My grandad (a lifelong nufc fan) had a stroke in the summer, wasn't well at all for a while but thankfully made a full recovery. We have a fair few friends inside the club, President of corporate hospitality is a very good friend with my grandparents. Anyway, back in october my grandad had knock at the door and who should it be but Beardsley. Our pals had apparently had a word and he was happy to oblige. He stayed and talked football with them for over an hour, gave my grandad one of his captain's armbands, loads of signed photos etc. Too bloke, didn't have to do any of that, suspect he does it a fair bit with no fanfare whatsoever. Has been my favourite nufc player since I was 7. Seems he's as good a person as he was a player, legend
-
This is the first season in which from the word go, a top 5 finish has been out of the question, completely unattainable tbh. I have a feeling Given might have left even if Keegan was still here. Of course Kinnear's 'management' has probably been not so much the last straw as the last tonne of straw

nufc - Bearsdley, nobody close non - Ronaldo, Baggio, Nesta, Maldini, Lampard, Stoichkov
-
because he put the ball in the mackems net you daft fucker
-
He's 34 next month, how many players make international debuts after that time? He could have been England's no.1 by now if Robson had stuck with him in 2000-01
-
They won the premiership less than 14 years ago man, 10,000 is ridiculous
