  1. won't be missed tbh. of course not, we now have a midfield partnership of Butt and Geremi/Smith to look forward to
  2. we certainly are. He's been our best midfielder this season by a shocking distance tbh Nonsense. Gutierrez is well up there. sorry, should have said central midfielder
  3. we certainly are. He's been our best midfielder this season by a shocking distance tbh
  4. Butt motm my arse, he gave the ball away time after time in the first half
  5. fair play to Ameobi today, surpassed the record he set for most useless and gutless performance by a CF in black and white. Pathetic waste of space, should never play again if Martins and Viduka are even half fit
  6. solid as a rock yet again, our best player today and going on this season alone, our best defender since Albert
  7. Ronaldo

    Steven Taylor

did well today but didn't have a lot to deal with defensively. As others have said he's a lot better at RB where his errors don't cost the team
  8. Martins failed a late fitness test 15 days ago and stll isn't fit to start? honestly, what the fuck. Someone shoot Ameobi before he takes us down
  9. I actually don't see what's so funny. Viduka is a brilliant player when fit. He showed glimpses of that last season. come on, Berbatov is twice the player, and i'm a Viduka fan
  10. where are the 'harsh words' for Quinn and Short?
  11. 'typical' Ronaldo who's been hitting the wall all season
  12. nobody in their right mind would want to partner Owen up front either tbh
  13. Not that I disagree about his decline, but I can't work out what stat or year you maybe meant there (because he got a few Prem away goals in 05) sorry, my fault. It was 2004 in which he failed to score away from home in the premiership
  14. The Uefa cup will always be looked down upon while the 3rd placed teams from the Champs League get a free ticket horrible tournament tbh, horrible format, horrible teams, incredibly amateurish coverage
  15. Shearer, just. But the fact he didn't manage a single premiership away goal in 2005 speaks volumes about his decline. Owen brings the entire club morale down, Shearer to some extent kept it up, which is why he gets the nod.
