a night in with Gutierrez or a night out with Coloccini, who do we pick?

one? generous dude, generous...but after he got beyond the disputed period he was good, agreed I saw him slip once but apart from that he was in the right place at the right time and looked solid in the air. I'm not a fan of him either but he looked a good defender today Duff, you're being harsh on aswell tbh. He had no chance to shine today because it was always tight in his area of the pitch and he was expected to support the midfield especially in the 2nd 45. He didn't give the ball away and never stopped moving which created space for Jonas and Martins Milner on the other hand, woeful excuse for a footballer, no matter how hard he tries just think duff was the same as always...i was wanting to chuck my pint everytime he passed the ball onto someone else when he got anywhere near the goal, he's got no bottle which is exactly what Shearer did in his last 3 seasons, he knew his limitations, Duff isn't going to outpace Ferdinand, Evra or Vidic, he played the easy ball. Not saying he had a paticularly good game, but he was decent. No bottle? I'm sorry mate but shut-up

here, clown, can you read? f*** off. I saw you put he got better but what kind of retard uses words like that when it's obvious he's finding his feet. No way was he either of those at any point anyway. quality comedy as always tbf, bringing players down/obstructing them without getting the ball is a big part of being a CB

Taylor played well with the exception of one early mistake

one dickhead blaming 'Teveth' another saying as much as he loved 'smithy' he's 'no rooney'

only 27, few years left in him

I've watched the guy play in La liga for the past 2 years pal, I'm not getting carried away with anything People said the same about Luque and others who have performed in a different league but failed here, the last thing we need is for another one of our players to be hyped up with big promises of will be class, immense, the best ever etc. Especially based on 1 game. I said he "has some class" can you tell me what that has to do with what league he plays in?

It's clear from this performance and a few from last season that there is a major imbalance in our team bewtween players that could take us to the top 5 and player that will always be found wanting at this level
-
quite content for him to be in our starting Xl this season tbh, as long as he isn't joined by Butt
-
have to admit, Taylor played well today, Coloccini has some class

Milner Butt N'zogbia doesn't take a genius to work out that these are the weak links. Zoggy should play on the wing ahead of Milner every day of the week
-
I like you as a poster, but sometimes you do come out with some strange comments from time to time... he's bang on. N'zogbia is beyond comical at LB
-
very impressed with this lad

this is on a par with Anal giving Robbie Elliot a '9' for West Ham (a) 2005
-
"I reckon we'll get a draw tbh, 1-1, might stick a few quid on it" £120 come on!

the clowns on this board who thought Butt should play over Geremi man
