A manager worth his salt would have found a way to accommodate both Ba and Cisse centrally without resorting to the tripe that Pardew did. Alright, the wide options were poor so a conventional 4-4-2 was always going to be tough, but hey, why not try it for 7 or 8 games on the bounce (and completely kill Shane Ferguson's confidence by subbing him at half time every week?).
