I think Evra has scored atleast twice this season from headers direct from corners. One of those against us I have to laugh or i'd cry because our manager and coaching staff are a joke. He bombs forward great but gets 30 yards from the opposition goal and never (well has a couple of times) finds a B&W shirt. I don't understand why people think its a good idea. Nowt wrong with an ego unless it isn't compounded by emotional security and intelligence. The great managers like Ferguson, Mourinho and Ancelotti have that ability to question themselves and admit when they're wrong, even if it seldom occurs. The likes of Souness and Pardew don't have that and that's where ego becomes a big problem.

Think it also had a lot to do with Ba wanting to play centrally. A manager worth his salt would have found a way to accommodate both Ba and Cisse centrally without resorting to the tripe that Pardew did. Alright, the wide options were poor so a conventional 4-4-2 was always going to be tough, but hey, why not try it for 7 or 8 games on the bounce (and completely kill Shane Ferguson's confidence by subbing him at half time every week?). I know. Just saying, the Wigan game probably wasn't his only reason.
