If (big if) it happened I’d reckon there’s more chance of the Saudis buying their share. It’ll be a bit like a Middle East dick waving contest as to who can be the best

Fatty there with Penfold
-
I’d like to see them playing South Shields and Gateshead. Fuck the hillbilly bastards

There’s some ball bags on Twitter mind. Had an argument with a kid last night who reckons the Arabs would be mad to let Steve Bruce go. I did point out they might have more lofty ambitions and some other prick pointed out that he’s better than Rafa. I think it’s time to take a twitter break!
-
I think he might be backed in to a corner this time. I think he either takes the Arab money or sells to someone else. I know we are talking about a flock of sheep but surely the “fans” wouldn’t be as silly to believe another pack of lies.
Who am I kidding. The fucker will be there next season
-
Couple of articles mentioning he’s also in talks with someone else. It would be typical Ashley to sells us to someone like Peter Kenyon with no money to invest rather than the Arab billionaires

Could this potentially be our new chairman?
he looks business
Bushy frowning eyebrows, a purple complexion and thin stoical lips all indicate the man can get violent when needed. He'd be just what we need to see transfers through.
I’m sure that’s Richard Keys dressed up
I thought Llambias had been at the Just for Men

Fair point, but have they seen the state of Ashley's jeans?! Swings and roundabouts!
Have they also seen the state of the sweatshops where his cheap tat is made?

One thing that has struck me over the last few weeks mind is that the amount of sports direct advertising is reducing considerably. Barbour replaces them on the press conference boards, the match day ads seem to have reduced as well on the pitch side advertising. Could mean somethings in the offing?
-
They’ll not want to languish in mid table, will build the club and it’s infrastructure - the ground, training ground and such like. We will go from being an advertising hoarding for a shite sports shop to one for a sovereign nation. Big difference they’ll expect success so as a fan you’ve got to be excited IF it happens.
In all likelihood we’ll be sitting here over the summer wondering what scintillating brand of hoofball cabbage heed will deliver us next season whilst fat mike considers changing the name of the ground to Frasers Park or something
-
I’d be happy to see us push on. Don’t give a shit about the human rights bit. We’ve had a Tory government in this country for quite some time and I dare say this would be any different. Fuck it. If we have success it’ll be a great memory for me and my family. I’ve followed these fuckers since 1985. Witnessed the what could have been with Keegan. If it’s not us it will be some one else so It may as well be us!!!

Pity we couldn’t get everyone to wear a JD sports t shirt. Probably the only thing that would piss him off

Last few seasons around 74 points gets you in to the playoffs. They almost need to replicate last seasons form over the second half of the season. Every winnable game they lose or draw sees that slip away from them and they have to rely on other teams to fuck it up. Another season in league 1 looms for these like unless they hit upon a winning formula - with Parko at the wheel that’s not looking likely!

Remember some old wife constantly petitioning against it at the Haymarket. She used to get quite animated at times too, the old bag.
Ha ha I remember her!
Dolly Potter I think she was called

More likely we’ll get Jim Bowen
Ashley wouldn’t pay for the gravediggers

I gave Celtic and Rangers the benefit of the doubt because although on paper I think their squads objectively are both clearly worse than say - Watford - they are big clubs and do compete well in Europe. I would say borderline Champ/low PL is fair.
After a couple of years they’d be up there though as they’d benefit from the additional premier league revenue added to the already substantive commercial revenue they get which would invariably increase. Their infrastructures are pretty much there to survive in the PL
aye that's fair, they'd be around the relegation spots imo though prob would be carried by big crowds and decent home form.

Every time this thread gets bumped I live in hope he’s either croaked it or been arrested

Westminster council breathing a sigh of relief that they won’t have to dredge Trafalgar Square come March

We'd absolutely wipe the floor with them.
Imagine 7 in a row at this stage man, tattoo artists all over the Mackemdom would rejoice
Erm, they are currently on 0 in a row...
You’re not considering mackematics though

Ashley will have to get his IRA hating Rangers mob on to comrade Corbyn
