If they buy another CB, I'd expect them to get 3rd at least. I don't think Arsenal have that killer instinct and they seem to go missing in the latter stages of the season. They've got a weaker team than Liverpool. Man City - if Tevez goes, I can't see Balotelli, Dzeko or Adebayor (if he comes back) getting as many assists or goals as Tevez does.

Would be funny as f*** if they lost the qualifier mind. Their current UEFA ranking could well put them in the wrong side of the qualifier draw and they'll do an Everton. City's squad is a bit stronger than Everton's don't you think? Imagine this side participating in the CL (played in the qualifying round vs Villareal) Martyn, Hibbert, Yobo, Weir, Pistone (McFadden 80), Cahill, Arteta, Neville, Davies, Kilbane (Ferguson 62), Beattie (Bent 63). Woeful.

I think they'll be top 4 next season. Just this half season alone, they'd be second behind Chelsea - they've beaten Man U (h), Chelsea (a), drew with Ars (a) and thrashed Man City (h). I don't think it's a honeymoon period either - if they get money to spend, they'll buy a CB, LW (rumoured to be Ashley Young) and a LB. Although they don't have the squad quality of Man U or Chelsea, the youngsters that they bring in, seem to slot in effortlessly. They've more 'team spirit' than City and Arsenal.

£4million. Absolute bargain.

Wasn't he close to going to Everton a few seasons ago? What happened then?
-
Steven Fletcher? He'll be cheap and worth a punt. Better than anything we've got at the moment.
-
The away top is just a rip off of Man City's away shirt. Very nice though.
-
Shouldn't he have a testimonial this year for 10 years service? 52,000 5,200 supporters doing the Ameobi - brilliant!
-
I actually want to see him upfront against Chelsea purely for comedic reasons, Terry and Luiz will quake in their boots I always thought he was prolific for Leeds, but looking at his stats, he wasn't good then either.
-
Sadly he only hits his man with the '.3' Which unfortunately for us is still superior to Jonas stats. Both of our wide players inadequacies are grossly exaggerated because of the absymal strike force. Barton, yes. But not Jonas. Half of his crosses end up behind the goal.

You know it was a UEFA directive? Wembley had to be left free for 2 weeks prior to CL final. Maybe they should have used the Millennium Stadium as the venue of the FA Cup final.
-
Surely Bolton must be a home banker? Bolton won their last 5 home games, mackems failed to win in their last 5 away games and a depleted squad too?

Reminds me of the Holland EC2000 shirt http://www.soccerway.com/photo_dynamic/orig/250/relative/977321811.jpg

Television presenter/actor. Close mates with A+D. Also whom is taking that photo ^ I'm assuming Wilkes, as it's his timeline.

He'll end up at Liverpool.

Love this one.

If anyone is interested.... United are also offering a free category C ticket for a game at St James’s Park to fans who make pre-orders from www.nufc.co.uk or NUFC direct on 0844 372 1892.

Who are these people forgetting he signed two strikers? The people who say 'he took them from 12th to 5th. If Woy had those strikers he'd not be in 12th, he got royally f***ed over financially That's rubbish. Hodgson was woeful in his tactics and player selection. He set his team not to lose rather than to go out to win. And he bought Konchesky and continued to play him, when he's got a couple of decent teenagers in the ranks, who are much better than him.
-
Sold a stroppy Torres for £50m and ineffective Babel for £6m and brought in two hungry strikers for £60m. Decent piece of business.
-
Still won't win the league though and for their fans anything less is failure Dunno, they seem realistic and they know they're in a period of transition. Biggest challenge next season will be to break into the top 4 again.
-
Aye, impressive in the January transfer window and blooding in the youngsters - Flanagan, Kelly and Robinson. I'm sure Dalglish will bring in the right players in the summer - new LB and LW. Unfortunately going in the right direction.
-
Out of curiosity, explain his shocking period as NUFC and Celtic manager then? He managed Celtic for a few games & won the League Cup not that shabby imo. Wasn't a flop at Celtic either. Was only caretaker manager cleaning up after John Barnes's mess.
-
Surely you could say the same about Mourinho in his Chelsea days?
-
Although to score so many is such a feat, I can't help to think that Barca and Real dominate that league so much that the amount scored isn't as impressive when you look further into it. Barca and Real lead 3rd place by 17+ points and Real beat 3rd place Valencia 6-3 away from home. It's not 52 only in Spain is it? Pretty sure it includes CL goals which is 11 (?) for him this season? Yeah, that's right. I take it back
