Disappointing Sandro hasn't started, but it'll be a fitness thing after a year out and 3 games in 6 days imo. Glad to see we're sticking with big Joe on the left linking with his little brother. We know this team and lineup can work well with our old pressing selves. Still think we get something here, 2-1 imo
-
Encouraging that. And Eddie "433" Howe switching it up formation wise in the second half. Was the N-O hivemind being somewhat hyperbolic?
-
Miley looks like 6 years older than the last time we saw him
-
I quite like this 5 at the back. Maybe different if we were chasing the game but I'm liking the movement it gives us
-
That fucking run by Krafu where did that come from
-
That was such a nice set piece, great to see, even if offside
-
Ahahaha
-
Fuck I thought that was in
-
Yeeeeessss lovely finish too, great to see
-
Yeah. I can watch live channels on it but can't seem to find our game.
-
Anyone know how to get to this on the Sky Sports desktop app? It directs me to the website, I find our game, click "watch live" and it just defaults me to skysports.com

The most frustrating part of today was how rattled we got after gifting them their 2nd. Proper "what if" but I wish I knew how the game would have gone if that hadn't happened. It just immediately put us on the back foot and it took 20 minutes or so to get over it and start working our way back into the game.
-
I said before today was a bit of a backwards step and it was, but not to such a great extent. Overall we were competitive away to an in form side and were a bit of composure away from taking a point. Our press and general play has also been improved against City, Everton & Brighton compared to earlier in the season. I'm not trying to be disingenuous here, having watched all 4 games (albeit missed the first 25m of today) we've played better than we had the 5 games before that overall, the results have just gone the opposite way primarily imo due to sloppy individual errors from players who should do better.
-
I know? What I'm saying is that the reasons we haven't picked up a win for a few games are more down to individual composure than a result of the team not performing overall. So I don't agree with not knowing where the next win is coming from, it'll come, just need our forwards to take the chances the team are creating for them. Unless Isak has become irreversibly Shola-fied that'll happen.
-
Fair enough, I don't see it that way personally - if Isak and Gordon were more clinical we probably beat Everton and Brighton, draw with Chelsea.
-
Performances have been improving though? We've been looking better since City imo, definitely an improvement from earlier in the season. It's why I'm not going to get overly concerned at this point
-
Probably worth pointing out that we're 9 games into the season, performances are gradually improving and we're 6 points off 4th. There's ages left yet, and if Isak hadn't switched bodies with Riviere for the last 2 games we'd be right up there. Understand frustrations with the results obviously, but I don't think this is the spiral it's being portrayed as
-
Yup. Actually watching the games and we're improving overall, albeit today was a backwards step. Inability to finish and some stupid individual errors have cost us at least 4 points in the last 2 games.
-
Once again massively let down by individuals. Genuinely not sure how you coach around errors like the ones from Isak (twice) and Pope (once) today. Ridiculous goal to concede and ridiculous chance to miss. Similar story against Brighton. Disappointing performance overall but not terrible away from home against an in-form team. Performances over the last 4 games still show an improving trajectory despite the results falling off a cliff. I'm not worried yet, just need to hold our nerve here and back the players and the manager through a tricky period.
-
Eddie really needs to be squaring that to Joe there
-
What the actual fuck is wrong with Isak. What the fuck
-
That was a really smart pass from Miggy to Big Jo there
-
Hall looks quite lively at least
-
Frustrating as fuck to concede such a soft as fuck goal out of 2 glaring individual errors, put us straight onto the back foot and we're struggling to break out of that pattern
-
How does a great shot stopper let himself get beaten there. Come on Pope, man
