Foul ball!

Now both just shut up shop please. Also, has anyone else thought that the 2nd round of group games so far has been of much better quality than the first? Probably because teams need to win and are going for it more.

5-a-side, their keeper rolls the ball out to the chavscum midfielder, I'm playing deep on the left, and charge up to him, nick the ball. Before they know what's hit them I'm charged past their 2 defenders and have just hit it as hard as I could with my left foot. Rocketed into the bottom right hand corner but I was running away before it'd left my foot, never doubted it was hitting the back of the net. Definitely the goal I'm most proud of considering it was with my left and I created the chance entirely myself. Best goal was probably again in 5-a-side. I ran up the right wing while my team had the ball in the middle, my mate passes the ball to me and I control the ball with my left away from the defender in their right corner, knocking the ball more central in front of their goal, and smash it with my left. Their keeper saves and it comes straight back to me, so I smash it past him with my right, top right hand corner. The control I had when receiving the ball from my friend, to set myself perfectly was Messi-esque. A shame my technique so poor I could never do it again if I tried.

Reading through this thread has made me hungry for some 5-a-side action, but as college has finished now I have no-where to get that. I'd consider myself as a Steven Taylor. I'm decent in the air, can tackle okay but often get a bit carried away and end up kicking people. I'm not great at passing yet always try and pull off some ridiculously difficult pass and it never works. Also often get ideas above my station and go running out of defence, which very occasionally will result in a goal. What I lack in skill and ability, I make up for in determination, chase every lost cause etc.

Wtf is that surposed to mean? I never said that I'm going to go to the Man City game just too boo him or anything of the sort. I just think for how he left and how he lied in order to leave was fucking wrong. Yes he was a great player for us over the years, I rated him amongst the best goalkeepers in the world and still do actually, and at one time their wasn't another keeper I would have over him in my team. At the end of the day though he sold us out for himself and it doesn't matter who the fuck you are, I'm not going to respect whoever does that and I'm going to think of them like a Judas. How many of you were pleased when Owen signed and were fans of him but hated him 4 years down the line? It's the same principle, you sell us out/ disrespect us then I lose all respect for you. Given falls under that line. Seriously? Anyway, Legend. Gave us most of his career, and for quite a few seasons could easily have gotten into a European team. Can't blame him for leaving tbh, Man City probably seemed at the time like his last chance for a shot at Europe.

Really, really well done NK. They play like that against the other teams in their group and maybe they'll go through. I really doubt it, but you never know. Gave it a lot of heart at least.

Yes I am enjoying the World Cup, not as much as I had hoped I would, but I'm still enjoying it.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the NK government was rumoured to be only showing selective highlights to make it seem like they win the tournament, though I have imagined that.

But they aren't a part of African culture, that's the point. They're a cheap, mass marketed piece of crap that's only been around the last 20 years or so and, most importantly, are shit.

The horns aren't helping matters, every game seems completely devoid of atmosphere when you can't hear the crowd at all.
