If true that's obviously going to be a massively disappointing window, no way of really dressing it up any other way. On the bright side we've kept hold of our best players, have strengthened a little in defence with Kelly, and have a fantastic player in Tonali back in the side. I think we'll have a really good season still and will be well in with a shout of a top 5 finish with fewer games to play and (hopefully) fewer injuries as a result. Still feel positive.

She's also liked a load of the clubs posts with Sandro in it over the last 24 hours, and liked his post too, so if they have broken up at least they're on good terms. Fucking hell we need to sign someone, what am I even typing.

Don't think we've really played well yet but are still picking up points/getting to the next round. It's both concerning and encouraging at the same time Very confident with the manager we've got he'll figure it out. Wonder if there's just an air of uncertainty around the club at the moment with struggling in the transfer window and we see a more settled squad moving up the gears in September

Sandro got the BBC player of the match which is good to see. Hopefully he builds on this, excited for what a fully up to speed Tonali can do

Another sluggish performance against a starting XI we should have been beating. We just look tired, or unfit, or something - seem to be 2nd to every ball. No idea what could be the cause of that so early in the season, maybe it's a mentality thing and we just need a lift with a signing? I'm confident Howe will figure it out at least, but until he does we're a bit of a difficult watch Be absolutely gutted if we go out here, desperate to see this group lift a trophy
