Sure there's an argument. But it takes a certain amount of bravery to take off England's all time goals scorer and captain with 60 minutes gone - the sort of subs we've been crying out for all tournament. Failings elsewhere cost us but there should be some credit too

Understand it's raw for people but think Southgate is getting too much flack there. Made the perfect subs to get us back into the game, but then definitely sat back which has been our issue all tournament. Definitely time for a fresh start

Fair enough, I disagree but can see your point. For me we've gotten past a decent Switzerland and a good Dutch team who on their day can give anyone a game, albeit not their best ever side

I'm not trying to be a complete prick here (honest ), but does that count as a big team that we've beaten under Southgate? For me it does, the Dutch are one of the big boys and we've outplayed them there. I feel like if we don't win on Sunday the chat will revert to "well it wasn't a very good Dutch team" much like it did with Germany in the last euros, but for me it should absolutely count as a heavy hitter we've just taken down in a knockout match

I mean I don't hate xg like some, but that's not really telling the whole story is it? Both teams hit the post, Saka goal offside, Foden chance cleared off the line. It wasn't a classic but both teams went for it and played quite well
