I read it as being .. there is a 15 mill pounds release clause if one of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal make a bid and its the first bid. However, if another club say us, offer 8 mill pounds for him, first up, then the release clause is somewhat destroyed and its open bidding as with a normal player. So technically we could make a low bid, to enable Swansea to gain an extra 5 million pounds out of Liverpool. If he goes for 20 mill, what Henderson went for.

Coach John Aloisi said Good’s planned move provided evidence of the strength of the development pathway present at Heart. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for Curtis. Newcastle United is one of the biggest clubs in the United Kingdom, and we are absolutely delighted he has the opportunity to test his wares on such a stage,” Aloisi said. “While Curtis will certainly be missed, his proposed transfer is a great affirmation of our youth policy, and a demonstration of the Club’s ability to assist in developing players to such an extent that they’re able to move to one of Europe’s leading competitions. “We wish Curtis well and hope he will one day return to don the red and white stripes of our club.”

How do you know this? I was only suggesting Corchia as an example that there are other right back that would improve our starting 11 other than Debuchy. Lets not all get in a negative mindset over this transfer. The media have as much idea as we do as to how this is progressing.
-
I understand what your saying. But Debuchy is 27 years old. Corchia is just starting his career at 21 and is being closely watched by many of Europe's super clubs.
-
Tell me who he is and I'll let you know. 21 year old right back for Sochaux. Plays for the French u/21's and is seen as one of the most promising right backs in Europe. Maybe too highly rated for us.
-
If this goes to shit .. would Sebastien Corchia be a suitable second option?
-
fuck that hes shit

What a nothing article that is.

The club is banking on him wanting to join us for him to force through a transfer at a price we are offering now, dangerous tactic. It is with a cash rich club They've just received 35M from the Hazard deal. So they aren't exactly skint. We also offer less because we pay with cash all upfront. But in this case it does not matter to Lille. Although Im not sure if there new stadium has all been paid for?
-
Not enough money here for him. Had a pretty quick decline in ability, though in his prime was fantastic. Was the man of the match against Japan 6 weeks ago, will still be able to handle the mls quite easily. Cheerios Tim & thanks for scoring against the mackems

That whole part of that stand was actually filled by Unification Church members. Never stopped dancing and chanting for the whole 90 minutes, creepy as f***. (Sunderland's opponent's were Seongnam Ilhwa FC, who are owned by the Unification Church, aka the Moonies) seongnam have just signed Brendan Hamill, seen by many to be as good if not better than Curtis good. Did he play?

Those three signings would have me jizzing all over the shop

If we want to pay that much for Carroll, Id rather have Sturridge any day.
-
Id love Afellay, but it seems he has his heart set on European (championsleague) football. Hell go to Arsenal, AC Milan, Schalke, Spurs. One of these clubs.

Michel Seydoux has agreed to comment on the desires of departure of Mathieu Debuchy, who says he made his decision. President Lille is serene and continues to seek a replacement "of the same level." LAURENT-GAËLLE DRIDI> @ gaelle.laurent nordeclair.fr For Michel Seydoux, there are more holidays than others and eventful those occurring during the transfer window are often part. But President Lille, now ten years experience in the field, is not surprised by the events that may occur during this period. As the output media Mathieu Debuchy yesterday in the columns of L'Equipe, do not interfere unduly. "This is the modern game who wants it, I am neither surprised nor disappointed, he says. This is not the first time this happens. I'm not neither hot nor cold. " Michel Seydoux has been known for some weeks now that his lawyer, became a regular in the France team, wants to go elsewhere. Probably the side of Newcastle, where his friend Yohan Cabaye evolving since last summer, and has already made an offer of € 5 million, deemed insufficient by the club Lille. The challenge of the Premier League is a strong argument to justify a departure but the way things work does not look like a player like Mathieu Debuchy, bringing the LOSC jersey for twenty years. The speeches of the leaders he changed in the meantime? "No, says President. But we are looking for a replacement. "They" are aware. And it's not simple. Mathieu is probably the best French player at his position, it looks complicated. " A "fly" named Yohan Cabaye? What fly has bitten well have a player who still imagined he recently finished his career with the LOSC and still under contract until June 2015? "If fly there, her name is Yohan Cabaye, he says. And perhaps also its immediate environment. Mathieu had gone his whole life to stay in Lille. This is not an adventurer football otherwise we would know. His friendship with Yohan and spending time in the France team had to play. This is my explanation, I do not know if this is correct. You know, during this period, players receive advice: good and sometimes worse. " Michel Seydoux and cell recruitment LOSC are on deck to find the gem. For leaders, Mathieu Debuchy knows the rules of the game "We are open to dialogue, said Michel Seydoux. We are faced with the desire of a player that does not correspond to ours but we seek his replacement. There is therefore no showdown. " Lille President also stated that the French international had not "cured" recovery, fixed yesterday morning for the international: "He has special arrangements with the coach and must follow a specific program until his return to Luchin ". Which will perhaps never be. We frankly doubt that Mathieu Debuchy is wanted, one day, such a departure

Good will sign as well

Even that game at St. James where he dived in the box, he had a very good first half and looked their most threatening player. There's certainly still a good player in there.
-
Why is that so hilarious? We already to know that signings aren't made by Pardew alone, but more of a team between Carr, Pards and Derek. Exactly! Therefore I find it "hilarious" that people are now jumping to a conclusion whereby Pardew is being undermined. Nobody has even said that outright have they? They're just strangely uncertain quotes IMO, he's normally more assured than that. When theres a transfer in the pipeline, Pardew never shows his full hand to the media. This is just another one of those cases.

No we don't, I'm sure it will start moving as soon as he gets back to his club and he makes his feelings known. He wants to come here and we've already shown an interest, Debuchy needs to do his bit now, relax. wow take it easy mick
