Top 6 level players: GK: Pope, Dubravka (Backup), Karius (Backup) RB: Trippier CB: Botman, Schar (Backup), Burn (Backup) LB: Targett (Backup) CM: Bruno G, Joelinton, Longstaff (Backup), Willock (Backup), Anderson (Backup) RW: Almiron (Backup) LW: ASM (Backup), Gordan (Backup) ST: Isak, Wilson (Backup) Thats 18 players that are good enough to remain in the squad for next season. I would argue that we need a starting RCB, LB, CM & RW/LW in the summer window.

Is it just me, or has our press lost the ferocity that it had earlier in the season? Is it due to the quality of opposition?

There were Iranian protests at Trafalgar during the day.

Just shithousery to kill the clock

The positive thing is we are still in the race for too 4 and out form has been off for a good 4 matches. Get Bruno back and games into Maxi, Isak and Gordan and we’ll be there or there abouts. Liverpool and Spurs aren’t that great.

I sat infront of his partner and kids at the match. Those poor kids man, heartbreaking.

He put it on a plate for Wilson.

That was West Ham and from memory he was the manager, yes. I’m sure he started Hayden Mullins in midfield over Mascherano.

Tragic and such a loss for his family. RIP

I was at London Stadium for the West Ham v Chelsea match on Saturday. It’s a horrible stadium and experience. It’s dirty and the atmosphere is poor. It honestly looks like a 40 year old stadium. Newcastle could do so much better

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s concussed. Has made some uncharacteristic like errors since his head knock.

We were out battled and outclassed in the midfield. It did look better with Joelinton moving to the deeper central role, but we can’t retain possession or progress the team forward. Maxi isn’t offering an outlet on the left.
-
Very poor. Sub for Gordan after 60 minutes.

Was just thinking the same thing. 120 million should be buying you a player that scores or assists every game.

We would never be able to match the wages that the top clubs are offering him. He may see it as an opportunity to play every week and grow with the club. He does seem to look at his career differently to other players.
