At least they've organised something this pre-season. Can only be a positive.
-
It wasnt that god tbh. Cardiff were minging and we still nearly let it slip.
-
I would be going all out for Holtby and Caulker. Then Corchia to replace Debuchy if hes leaving.
-
Tiote, Krul and Anita are all good mates arent they?
-
you trying to make me jizz in my pants Fenham. Hes an absolute beast at tackling and intercepting, perhaps the best in the league. But his passing leaves alot to be desired. Not what we need really. Pardew would fucking love him though.

Looks like both Good and Troisi will be playing for Australia in the World Cup. Two strong Newcastle links there. Bradden Inman has been really disappointing for Crewe this season, what happened to him?

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/socceroos/news/1188485/Curtis-is-good-to-go-for-Australia Young Australia defender Curtis Good’s FIFA World Cup hopes will not be hindered, even if an injury prevents him playing again this season. Out with a hip flexor injury since making his Socceroos debut in the 4-3 loss to Ecuador eight weeks ago, Dundee United’s on-loan centre-back has made such an impression with coach Ange Postecoglou that he will be given every chance of proving his fitness ahead of June’s Group B clashes against Chile, Netherlands and Spain. Good, who showed maturity beyond his years and astute tactical awareness on debut despite Australia’s second half implosion against the South American in London, is close to returning for his Scottish Premier League club as it approaches its final three games of the season. The Tangerines host Aberdeen on Wednesday (AEST), travel to Celtic on Sunday and have the Scottish Cup final against St Johnstone to look forward to the following weekend. He returned to training late last week, though only on a modified schedule for the time being. According to Socceroos sources, even if the young Socceroos captain misses all three of United's remaining games he will still be in Postecoglou’s initial 30-man World Cup squad – to be named on 16 May. Postecoglou showed his belief in the towering defender – who joined Scottish high-flier Dundee United on loan from Premier league Newcastle United at the end of January – by naming him in his starting side against Ecuador. It’s understood that Australia’s preferred central defensive partnership in Brazil is the Good alongside Matthew Spiranovic with Shandong Luneng’s Ryan McGowan the most likely back up. Former skipper Lucas Neill, 36, played the final day of the Championship season on loan at Doncaster Rovers. The a 1-0 loss to Leicester Doncaster down to league One – and Neill remains an outside chance of a recall. Young gun Trent Sainsbury has suffered a relapse of his knee injury playing in the reserve team at his Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle and could be ruled out of contention altogether with surgery now a possibility. With warm up games against South Africa in Sydney on 26 May, an unnamed Brazilian club side on 1 June (provisionally) and Croatia five days later, Good will have plenty of time to show he is match-ready again after coming into camp where he will be assessed by Australia’s medical staff.

Colo had a massive fall out with the charlatan last season didnt he?
-
Hopefully its 5-0.

http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/exclusive-fabricio-coloccini-says-he-will-be-back-at-newcastle-next-season-1-6598681 I hope he can find some consistency. Ideally we should get rid of Saylor and get Caulker. First choice partnership of Mbiwa and Caulker. Too much for Pardiola though.

Wasnt he a left back that game?
-
An option to buy clause makes no difference. The decision would have still been Remy's to make and as we all pretty much knew he wasn't staying here beyond a season. If we had ambition (replaced Cabaye) and signed a few players of similar quality, he may have wanted to. But then again he would still be working under Pardew, which is a afir enough reason not to sign.
-
It was idiotic of dick head Kinnear to not have a clause to make the move permanent. I know the court case was there, but surely we knew it would be settled before the end of the season. If he was convicted, dont make the move permanent.
-
They still need another top striker imo. I'd use Remy in a narrow attacking role to the left with a main striker (not Giroud) just ahead of him. Podolski could be off then? Rumours of him wanting to head back to Koln. IMO there isnt really a main striker out there for Arsenal that is better than Giroud.
-
as if Pardew wont play him against Liverpool. He could shag a donkey and Pardew would still play him, such is his desperation to save his job.
-
Good signing for Arsenal though, I think with Giroud, Podolski and Remy they are sorted up front.
-
More his level to be fair. Its sad because if we had any sort of ambition, we are a perfect club for him.
-
Watching Arsenal play in their directors box today apparently
-
Theyll be fine next year. They have a decent manager and most of the dead wood is out of contract. If they actually recruit well for once, theyll be comfortably mid table. Unlike us
-
On the game itself, we were once again completely uninspiring, against by far the worst side to visit St. James' Park this season. Coloccini was superb and Debuchy deserves to play in the champions league. He's at a much higher level to the rest of the crap in our squad.

Taylor is such a knob!

If we win this Pards won't get the sack.
