I feel sorry for her and the baby, they're both innocent victims. Is the correct answer. She's going to be tarnished for life through no fault of her own. She's accompanied him to court almost every day hasn't she? Father of her child or not she's got no obligation to show such solidarity for the filthy little worm. She hasn't accompanied him since the first day. She was there the first few days wasn't she?

Is it not even anything along the lines of acting recklessly/irresponsibly? It seems more like the type of thing that would be deemed that way in hindsight, had he gone on to do it again. As it is it just looks dodgy that they allowed a player of their's to remain in a position that they knew he had used in order to groom a child. As Hans says, it's up to the police/court to decide what he can and can't do whilst on bail. They knew what his job was, they could have imposed conditions saying he couldn't play football if they wished, but they didn't. Ah okay, so the onus is on the police/court and all they did was recommend safeguards. I'm not sure if this is right. As the post above says, if SAFC assumed he was pleading not guilty then I'd totally agree. Having a full confession from him about what he'd done is a totally different matter. I'm trying to think what would happen in any other line of work - say this was a teacher. Imagine a School knowing a teacher was a pedophile but keeping it hush hush and keeping the teacher in employment until the trial.

But he was pleading not guilty in Court but told Sunderland he was guilty in private? He didn't need to enter a plea didn't he in earlier court appearances? June last year he pleaded not guilty to all four charges but told Sunderland he was guilty. They played him knowing full well he touched kids. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/adam-johnson-pleads-not-guilty-to-child-sex-charges-10293967.html

The only problem with the strategy is that he pleaded not guilty all the way up until the trial, so if you're on the jury you have to be thinking 'this lads full of shit'

They almost certainly knew he was guilty, this is from a legal fella I know......"SAFC would have had copies of the advice from Counsel (Orlando Pownall QC is a big, big cheese in crime) and copies of the prosecution evidence once he was charged. They will have known the content of the whatsapp messages straightaway." They knew and played him to save themselves, which is utterly despicable in my opinion, and you're right, the FA should investigate it. The classy c***s. Would they have all that though? Strictly speaking they're nothing to do with this case, it's a matter between the crown and Johnson. Yeah I don't see what safc would have access.to counsel opinion when they've got no involvement at in the case.
  8. I imagine it's things like designing drills, thinking of ways to make the sessions engaging and enjoyable, shit like that .

I very much doubt they'd use that defense like. It would be total speculation, but possibly the proof in those texts only shows that 'something' happened and he's claimed that it's a kiss. I assume the defence will be 'he didn't do, there's no evidence to prove he did'.

    Penetration is one if them.
  11. Well, you've just answered your own question.

  13. He should be sacked this weekend
  14. Until they play someone s***. Six wins on the spin would suggest that isn't always the case. Even when we played them this season they were terrible.

He's admitted sexual activity with a minor, I'd love to know what you're basing that on.

If they have been together for 5 years then she's automatically entitled to 50% of his assets if they break up. Almost certain that's made up.
  19. That's because it's absolutely lush.
  20. That's if he scores every chance. He gets about one good chance a game over the last 10 or so games. A bigger problem rather than his finishing, which may come in the future is that he doesn't attack the ball in the box when we get down the line. The amount of crosses we got in good areas yesterday with nobody to attack them was amazing. This may be a confidence thing but even after he scored the goal yesterday he wasn't attacking the ball I guess this is where Steve and his buddies have to earn their cash
